why is it not letting me buy anymore recipes i have the mony but there is a zero next to the recipe and idk what this means.

They had that before the
They had that before the looping patch it's so that you cant join someone at basil and get recipes. Basically you wouldn't need to fight at all (and thus spend energy) and you would have access to all the recipes.

Yes, before you could not join at the terminal and buy recipes, but you used to be able to join on the depth before Basil and buy recipes. Now you can not.

It's happened to me. when i go down on a jelly run or something, when i go check out Basil's wares it says there all sold out even though nobody bought anything. i've already submitted the bug to them... don't know why they haven't fixed it yet.

Travid: It's not a bug. To buy from Basil, you had to join the party two depths up or earlier. If you joined on the level right above him (or at him), he won't let you buy things. I think it's dumb to penalize for joining in the level above, but not letting people buy when they join at the terminal seems reasonable.
Also, you can only buy a specific recipe once a day. If you've bought, say, a Skolver Cap in the morning and you run into Basil stocking it again in the afternoon, you won't be able to buy that recipe again.

I think it's not dumb to penalize for 1 level above..
lets say I solo and clear the floor above basil, I then join with 3 alts at the cost of 10 energy each.
4 of me go down to basil, I now can have access to 4 copies of the recipes, if there are any good ones I'll be able to make a lot of profit.
2 floors above means, they have to clear at least 1 level, and it'll cost at least 20 energy each.
Ever since they "fixed" the looping problem you can't buy recipes if you join at or right before the terminal.
