I have 5000 crowns and I don't know where to go to get a better gun, neither do i know how to make weapons. Can someone give me a guide or tell me where to go or how to make a weapon?

I recommend you buy a 3* gun
I recommend you buy a 3* gun from the AH
one that will eventually lead up to a 5* gun
I personally recommend the voltech alchimer mk2 http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Voltech_Alchemer_Mk_II
the reason is because most of the things you want to shoot are weak to elemental
but 3* weapons usually sell for 15~20k so you might want to save up, or get the 2* version.

you could learn how to defeat tier 2 bosses, their token can be traded for popular guns, antigua, pulsar and catalyzer.

that being said, i suggest the firotech alchemer(i can craft one for u for 2kcr or u can buy it from the ah for ~2.3kcr)
reasons:·causes fire
·charge attack has ricochets
·useable for all boss runs(except fsc, but thats endgame)
BUT this really depends on your playstyle (defensive, aggressive, guns,bombs, swords) though i dont know how to/ why u could/would aggro with a gun.........
imo the best gun EVAR is the polaris (starts out as a pulsar)
reasons:·shock(like a weaker fire, but also stops movement)
·has a larger clip than the alchemers
·has the same type as the alchemers(elemental)
·good for all boss runs (except imf, explaination follows)
·and the number 1 reason: THE BULLETS ****ING EXPLODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
u shouldnt use it in imf though,cuz the jellys there will spazz out and kill u if they get shocked and the bots there selfshock (/epicfail) but since getting it is like the only reason to run it u shouldnt worry about that

·autogun: good if u can handle it, upgrades pwn endgame
clip size: 8-12 i think
drawbacks: u cant move while fireing and must use up whole clip first(~2-3 seconfs standing still)
·biohazard: charge attack shoots bullets that orbit the target, normal shot explodes them.
upgraded from catalyzer
dmg type/status effect: shadow/poison
clip size:3
drawbacks: VERY slow bullets
·antigua lines: DONT. GET. ANTIGUA>BLACKHAWK>SENTENZA. no really, dont. get silversix>argent peacemaker
oh and also, it can shoot the barriers.
clip size: 6
drawbacks: only obtainable w/ tokens from 2nd hardest boss, weak

I definitely think you should start with Auction House. For 2*, I would pick up either a blaster or an alchemer -- for alchemers, you get your choice between pure elemental (prismatech), fire (firotech), shock (voltech), freeze (cyrotech), and shadow (shadowtech). The pure elemental/shadow alchemers do not inflict status, but do higher damage as a result.
If you have a favorite status, go ahead and try that alchemer (Cyro is the popular one for those). Otherwise, a good prismatech/shadowtech will do you well (:
On auction house, it's usually better to bid on short auctions rather than simply buy-it-now, maneuver it and see which deal is best. 2k crowns or less is a good price.

Buy/don't buy from where?
Like Kreuz said, the bazaar NPC's weapons are too overpriced. So, I recommend you do not buy from there.
You should buy from the Auction House. The prices of 2* guns are cheap. Most of them are around 2k crowns.
If you need a 3* gun, you'll probably need 15k-20k crowns to buy one of them.
You could also buy from other players, provided you know that the price of the item they are selling you, are not overpriced.

Guns
I would advise alchemer for starters they are good starter guns and can be crafted into better models but as you get better a new model gun is advised. an auto gun is good but you cant fire and move at same time so yea.
Whatever gun you buy buy it from the auction house not the bazaar. There are some great deals at the AH but anyway hope you find a decent gun.

i'm not a gunslinger but...
go for the AH and try to find the best deal for a Blaster or an Alchemer, if the prices are too high go to Kozma or Vatal or Basil for gun recipes. make sure you have the right amount of energy and materials to craft it. Good luck!

Well, you got several options:
Buy at the Bazaar's NPCs.(But let's be honest, a lot of those weapons are way overpriced.)
Buy at the Auction House. You can usually find some nice 2* guns for around 1500 crowns.
Buy from other players.(But I would really only recommend this if you're familiar with trading and the average price you're buying. So you don't get scammed.)
Craft. You need to first learn a recipe. You can find recipes from Basil(The guy in the clockworks terminal.) or from Vatel(Bazaar guy, he's near the arcade entrance.). Vatel usually holds only 2* recipes, while Basil has higher leveled recipes in deeper depths. Once you learn the recipe and have all the materials for it(The recipe should tell you what you need.) you would need to go to an alchemy machine(They're the blue vending machine-like things.)

I would recommend looking through the forums in knowing what kind of gun you should get/craft. I like crafting the best, but most(from what I noticed at least.) people prefer just buying the 2*-3* gear they need, and then start crafting from there.
