Focus:Speed mainly
2 weapon slots probably
(when I say something I mean the entire line of it)
Armor:Radiant Silvermail-Reason:Pairs with Nameless Hat for all around Protection
Helmet:Nameless Hat-Reason:^^^ and has the gun speed upgrade, not much but, eh.

Shields:Plate shields-Reason:For the high normal damage blocking, might go for the Scale shields though for fire resist

Guns:Antigua to Argent Peacemaker-Reason: A good all-rounder
Guns:Voltech/Prismatec Alchemer-Reason:Specialized damage

Swords:Flourish/Snarble Barb-Reason:Piercing damage
Swords:Striker to Dread Venom-Reason:Fast and poison later on

Please give feedback

u can upgrade the plate

u can upgrade the plate shield to a volcanic plate shield. that has fire resist

don't get the antigua lines. there are many better options than the AP.
before u get into the cutter line, u should know that it's rather hard to use. and i've heard that the damage output isn't that great (without getting hit urself)

I planned on the volcanic and

I planned on the volcanic and I think I can handle cutter line, but spur is definatly out of the question. Antigua is probably gonna be as a secondary as my gun usually is, Im a hybrid. The main reason i like it is its firing type

The Argent Peacemaker is NOT

The Argent Peacemaker is NOT an all rounder. The 2 monster types it is good against are undead and fiend and they still do less than a weapon with specialized damage. The AP wont even be able to reliably hit devilites so that even further limits it's usefulness.

The dread venom striker is tricky to use since it has low knockback and small swing arc. People complain about the damage output since you your combo has 5 slashes plus the 5 shadow slashes so there's a higher chance of some of the swings missing.

I think the plate shield pairs best with the striker line since it has one of the strongest shield bumps which is basically the knockback you need.

If you are going to take 2

If you are going to take 2 weapon of the same type, you should not take normal or split damage weapons.
That means Argent Peacemaker is out (it's bad overall, and fit very limited purpose) and dread venom striker is too (it's very hard to use in T3 anyway).

For the 2nd gun, instead pf Argent Peacemaker, you should take a shadow or piercing gun, my favorite would be Callahan to deal with dodging mobs, but Blitz Needle, Biohazard and Umbra Driver are all good candidate for this slot (and if you can do 3 guns and take 2 according the strata, it would be perfect).

Same for the 2nd sword : if you want to be fast, it's going to be a brandish series sword, you can't go wrong with either (as long as you don't take cautery sword).

As for shield and armor, it seems ok.

My Take.

Alternatively, if you don't want elemental damage (though this is not recommended if you're going Duke often) get an Acheron. It's considerably faster than the GF (hence more DPS), though it lacks a status.

And personally for a piercing I'd recommend the Blitz Needle. Callahan has bad damage (granted, it can hit dodging enemies), but a Blitz Needle has good DPS, and the charge attack sucks enemies in if you do it right. I.e. if you charge well you can down Wolvers and Devilites with one charge attack (no guarantees on the alpha/Pit Boss though).
