Cheesemandrewt is crazy (or sarcastic). The Flourish you have is probably worth more than you're asking for; at most I'd say 20K CE.

The thing with flourishes is not a lot of people like the charge attack. It's not something that's spammed as often as say a Divine Avenger or Leviathan. CTR is in demand for those swords because the charge is used a lot. However, on pieces like the Cutter line or Gran Faust, the charge can be detrimental or can get you killed. Charge for flourish is great for trojans though.

I'm sure you'll find a buyer eventually, but I have a hard time moving flourishes in general. Good luck!

The last CTR Very High Calibur I've seen posted in the forum *sold* for 15k CE. The thing about Flourishes (and caliburs, etc.) is that they unlike sealed swords, they are "ragecraftable". And unlike Brandishes, a player only really need one of them. Furthermore, the charge attack on a Flourish is not everyone's cup of tea. It's fine if you aim and time it well, but it's not the safest charge around.

On the other hand, by virtue of not being crafted as much as Calibur/Brandishes, they may be more rare, so IF you can find someone who doesn't have one, -really- want one, they may be willing to pay a higher premium for it. I remember a retired knight posting a WTB at 20k CE (verified: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/22535), though keep in mind that is a Final Flourish (would therefore include a 4k CE unbinding fee).

My opinion: you should be able to find a buyer for 10-12k in a fairly short amount of time (*). If you aren't in a rush and willing to wait a bit longer, you should eventually find a happy buyer at 13-15k (as long as you are willing to advertise continuously until you find such buyer). For 16-20k you would need to find the right buyer at the right time.

fyi, in case you didn't catch it, last week a flourish ctr vh was on AH (i thot maybe u bought it and was reselling, then u said u crafted it). That little pretty showed up with a 2 day time frame and was listed at

1.5M buyout.

For 2 days it didn't get touched. Went back to seller. Reposted @

I am not saying this to try and undercut your profit margin, just trying to help. As it sounds as tho you want to sell it, and if you ask for 20k your thread will just disappear to page 8973 of the bazaar.

as i side note:
this was one of my few "have to have" items. A friend of mine, heron, had one. I was willing to go as high as 13k ce for it but nothing more. He didn't want to sell it. I eventually bought a vh ctr Barb Thorn Blade, so thats now my beast weapon. But point is, as someone who desperately wanted it, 13k ce was the highest I would have paid.

I prefer ASI on my flourish to be honest. If I were interested in CTR I would have bid 5k CE. Don't drop it too far. Stand firm. You'll find a buyer. This is a very uncommon piece. Start at 8k CE though and buy out at your 11.5k CE I think you'll find a bidder eventually.

I'll take it at 7k.

If business-lady doesnt do the deal with you i'll take it at 8kCE.
