So i am wondering about gate progress from the Character menu.
I am currently cleared for t2 and soon will be cleared for t3, yet some gates like Coral Pawn gate and Silver Knight gate put a star under t1 in the character menu but t2 isnt started. Yet other gate like the onyx Queen Gate has a star in t1 and t2 also. So i am wondering is there anything i need to do to make those stars available? also if i skip straight to t2 in those few cases (besides onyx queen gate) i have to pay 200 crowns
So if anyone who can help me with that would be awesome

the star means you reached the tier depth for that gate. for the ones you dont have the star, you have to pay crowns to skip down to tier 2 or 3. but if you start from the top and work your way down to the moorcraft manor, you'll then see a star under that tier 2 for that gate and no longer have to pay the crowns, and the same for when you reach tier 3. not sure what happens if you pay to skip to tier 2 then make it to tier 3, maybe the ride to tier 2 still costs money but not tier 3?
