My guess is that OOO silently patched the bug so that they wouldn't draw attention to something so game-breaking.
I didn't know of the glitch at the time, but it makes me think that's the reason for the CE inflation as of late.

The exploit violently damaged the Energy Market (it went as high as 6800 crowns to buy 100CE; or 7000 to sell 100CE). Hopefully it'll recover to its normal trade ranges before the exploit occurred.

there was no patch installed
there was no patch installed from the update, just a server reboot it seems, probably a server side fix of some kind

CE was already down around
CE was already down around 6200 when I checked this afternoon. I suspect it'll settle back around 6k over the course of the weekend.
My understanding is the only change was to fix a bug that could let people get a huge amount of crowns.
