Hi my second character is a bomber and I have the firecracker and the cold snap spiral demo helm and a starter suit and proto shield only one piece of equipment is 2* but how come I am in tier 2 lockdown.

thats how lockdown works
The tier depends on your highest equipped gear, in your case the helm.
If you were on T1 lockdown with that helm, you'd be more powerfull than the others with their 1* gear.

Note that since you can switch loadouts during a lockdown match, the game looks at ALL of your loadouts. If you want to play in T1, you have to disable PvP on all non-T1 loadouts.

ur underpowered because you only have the demo helm in 2-star.everything else is 1/0-star.
oh, btw, maybe one of the breaker helms will be better, cuz there isnt any elemental or piercing damage in t1 lockdown

Well, do you want to play T2 lockdown or T1 lockdown? Cause either way, you're going to have to change up your setup a bit. If you plan to enjoy either of them.

Some elemental damage is used in the form of the Edge series.(Static Edge and Hot edge are the mostly used ones I've seen.) But yeah, breaker series isn't bad either.(Kinda wish they do make piercing type sword for T1....I think it would make things more interesting....)

heres a tip: dont go into t2 lockdown without being full t2. its kinda annoying for t2 players to see t1 dudes in proto gear walking around holding edge blades.

Well now I got the spiral
Well now I got the spiral demo suit so it will be better and if I'm a reacon (whitch I usually am as a bomber) I'll have max CTR for my bombs. the only thing I need is a 2* secondary weapon and I'm good to go. does the shield matter if you are doing lockdown because I have the owlite shield right now.

i think youve noticed shields dont matter in lockdown...
try getting a sword for secondary (btw what bomb are using)
or even a second bomb like crystal bomb or one of the vaporizers.

I'm using the crystal bomb and I got the freexing aporizer and I'm going to get a third weapon slot so I can get the troika to knock people away
You're put into a game of T2 lockdown if you have at least one piece of gear that is 2-3*. T1 only allows 0-1* gear.
It doesn't matter what * level your other gear is, if you have at least one 2-3* or 4-5* piece, then you'll be placed in a game of tier 2 or tier 3 lockdown respectively.
If you want to do T1 lockdown with your near current setup, you'll have replace the Spiral Demo Helm with something of lower level. Spiral Scale Helm is nice.
