Mercurial Demo Set or Mercurial Set & Volcanic/Mad Set?

I've been looking for a bombing set for a while, when I came across the boss armor sets.
Now, I've been a swordsman for a while, so I kind of want to go hybrid sword/bomber.

so in the odd chance that I just want to go bombombombombomb for FSC/Shadow Lairs/whatever
Should I take the Mercurial Demo for supah fast runningzors
or take the Volcanic/Mad Set and make the Mercurial Set later for runningzors

(sorry if this sounds stupid, I'm in the middle of a SL run and am waiting to be revived so I don't have much time to write dis)

You'll want Volcanic helm

You'll want Volcanic helm since it has some fire resist and CTR med.
Even with the negative resist, I'd carry a mad bomber suit instead of mercurial. The movement bonus is negigible
An alternative if you want to be a swordman/hybrid is trinkets or try to roll CTR Uvs on your bombs.

The mercurial is just a warmed over bombastic. Ignore it and go Volcanic/Mad.

Personally I'm looking at building a Volcanic/Grey Feather, since I'm going GF for a general purpose IMF/FSC set and I'm building a focus trinket to fill up the rest of the CTR. Volcanic/Vog is also a good option if you want to split swording and bombing.
