Does volcanic plate shield still have a status resist against the fang of vog charge attack?

umm...
NOTHING can block the fire you may recieve from fang of vog's charge attack
but MANY items, such as vog cub armor, divine armor and others, will LOWER the amount of damage that you take from it
and no shields dont affect anything unless its being used, when your shield is not up, its just an accessory
are you talking about the self inflicted fire status?
shield defenses and resistances, only apply to the health of the shield when it's up.
so, no, the VPS (or any other shield) won't effect the fire damage from the FOV charge attack.
if you're talking about lockdown, then still no, because shields aren't used in lockdown.
