I was tired of kicking vana. So what do i do next? Take one look. Died 3 times fighting him.

Please note i need to buy fraps. It would really help. Also the fight took over 20 minutes. If you'd like to see the run let me know. I'll put together a short video of it like this one. I will admit though. I used some help at the end of 27 last room on the third wave. That is the hardest part of the whole run. You get overwhelmed with zombies. Also next time I'll take blitz instead of VT.
@Mrgreedy I recommend Dxtory over Fraps, but either will do.
Thanks for the advice, I tried it and it was really lagging on the video, maybe I need to adjust something. Anyways Fraps is the best program I've used so far and also allows the video to be started with a mouse key.
@Mrgreedy Dxtory comes with a lossless compression codec for recording, and I think Fraps does too. The lossless codecs take very little CPU to run, so you should see little to no slowdown, assuming you have a decent amount of RAM, a reasonably quick HD, and a dual core or more CPU.
The only downside is you'll want to transcode the 20 gigs of video afterwards using a better codec like xvid.

i agree the last room on d27 is the hardest when soloing with proto. although ive only had a DA as weapon there, that might be the reason. having an ap would make things a bit easier.
Seriously, this post is like old, but onto other matters. With the updated and easier zombies 27 is way to easy now.

Also I was a little surprised to see this thread dug up, its been a while.
My first thought was "Man, I wish I picked that spiral helmet instead of the one I did."
So how much damage does a single mace hit do?
