As of recently, I have been creating tutorials for Spiral Knights.

Anyways, going back to the topic. I've been working on some new material just to make my tutorials to make it MORE EXCITING, however the problem is.. I can't draw for crap.. I'll give you CE if you help me with some type of ART for these videos.
I don't have money, I can give you CE. Why only CE? I make these tutorials for free, in order to help people.
The drawings that I would LIKE will CONSTANTLY in the tutorials be used.. Basically, I was thinking something on the lines of some Spiral Knight or little Snipe that guides you. Just something that comes out of the corner and says stuff in a dialog bubble. (Kinda like Navi from Zelda)
It'll basically be a cut out of some sort.. That I'll render using Adobe and Vegas..
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED, ADD ME IN GAME: I'll give more detail.. Plus, you'll get a sneak peak into what I'm working on....

Axonio, you hit the name RIGHT ON THE HEAD.
I wouldn't ask for that many different types of expressions though.. Just seems kinda mean for me to push such a task.. on the artist.
I mean, these could be as simple as a pen drawing that's colored. I've seen someone who uses a pink pen, who's just fantastic.

Btw, in game name is Ailment. I was thinking of using one of the more common spiral knight looks, which could include any from the proto gear (although the tailed path has my attention).
Hmm... I'll get to you in a couple of hours with something...I got an idea in my head and I won't put it to rest until I try it out. :)

As for a name? Well...haven't really thought of one. I have been labeling these pictures as "Helptip," but that's hardly a name...
I do have a name floating around, which is Elvara. Weather you choose to use either is up to you.

Wow, Za-Ck. Man, you can draw!!! I like the sketches of the Snipe and of the Knight!! I'm guessing this took you like 15 mins? lol =D
I just need a certain character or whatever. With emotions or faces to represent certain things.. Like happy, idea, sad, epic fail.. etc. You know how people use certain faces in anime's and cartoons etc.
As I figure out what I am going to do for the next videos I make.. I'll probably be able to give a more specific idea..
I was thinking of doing a Lockdown and Bomberman and Overall monster fighting Tip video tip video for ppl starting out.
However, I'll probably ask what tips ppl think are useful at another time.

First of all, thanks for the complements you two :D
I really like your use of the in-game models Scarred; impressive posing and very well done on the expressions too, I find them quite amusing.
Lol, those sketches in total still took a good 30 minutes or so, the knight was the hardest part.
I guess I'll just use that knight design for the images you want, I'll just spruce it up a bit next time and add more emotes. This was really just a test drawing to get a feel for the shape and everything. I still don't know a good name for him yet.
I had a small idea; how about having my knight and Scarred's knights "co-commentating" on whatever the video is showing. Like both will provide tips and pointers, but at times they will argue a bit with each other, you know for a hint of humor and whatnot. (his knight would be in the right-hand corner and my knight would be on the left or something)

I like your idea Za-Ck, originally I hoped my picture would be talking to some noob in game (thus being frustrated at times), but I like the idea of having two different knights talking/arguing with each other, gives more than one opinion on one matter.
I'm done making more Helptip/Elvara pics unless one needs a certain pose, since I think 14 is enough to get started o.O

My computer takes a real beating trying to render these videos as fast as possible.
I could actually get a couple friends to do voices for these chars but idk. We'll have to see... I DO have a mic and wanted to do commentary for a long time.. I could have it like.. I'm sorta arguing with the knights while playing lockdown or whatever..

I was thinking of actually having small speech bubbles, but voice acting can work too if you do it right. Maybe the footage should pause for a bit and blur into the background a little while the two knights are interacting with one another, and then resume when they are done, so the audience doesn't miss anything while paying attention to the little knights in the corners.

It could go on like a "Let's play video" I mean.. I usually do SOME type of text bc well youtube has been doing sound to speech.. I believe for deaf ppl, so I try to always put some type of writing.
