i was thinking maybe we could get trinkets to be visible on the player, like necklaces maybe. here are my ideas:
skelly charms: necklace with a skull, looking like a skelly mask depending on star level(dread skelly charm has horns, for example).
jelly band: a pink/blue/grey/purple-with-a-little-crown headband or around the players waist.
heart pedants: guess.
crystal pin: a little crystal pinned on to the players chest. glows more depending on star level.
white laurel: a grey laurel, gets whiter depending on star level.
wetsone and heartstone pedanst: necklaces with a blue and a red stone, respectively.
wyrmwood bracelet: a wooden bracelet, gets different coloring depending on star level
silver amulet: a necklace with a silvery glow. glows more depending on star level.
katnip pouch: a pouch with a few katnip leaves sticking out. the more the stars, the more the katnip.
as for the modules, i think maybe a few mechanical plates on the players arm or hands will do.
the player could choose to show or not trinkets, and can only show one necklace each time, for example(maybe trinket costume???).
what do you think? any suggestions?
Visible Trinkets
1)clipping?
2)well, theres a difference. these look kinda more like, dunno, jewels, instead of accessories, than are armor attachments.
no, srsly, what is clipping?
Clipping is overlaying something, often only a part of it, making it very wrong in the eyes. The bane of a current FPS player that is a graphic-...lover.
To making it simple: it is the same reason why some accesories aren't avaiable to insert in some armor pieces: they would look wrong or repetitive: half-glasses sticking out of a Wolver helm and such (...dunno if you can, but I imagine it wrong due to it being a mask)
I would like to be able to see them physically, but thay may not be for all armors visible.
thanks, i got the idea...
yeah itd be hard for like skelly suits and so on..
maybe this can be solved by having armors that combine with certain trinket costumes(still can use trinkets, but only a few costume options).
Clipping?
Although, I think these could also be considered viable Accesory ideas. Just my idea.
