Lol! Most of us think that we could outrun the server maintenance count down. Unfortunately we don't make it, and the elevator steals our 10 energy before the server shuts down. My suggestion is players should get a 10 Mist Energy refund for every time that happens. =) Only to those who are in the depths of the arcade though. Especially if players are trying to take on a boss!
I mean come on! What could be bad about refunding players ten mist energy? I know you guys! You can't be that greedy! =P
10 Energy refund for every server maintenance thing going on (for the people logged onto depths at that time)?
Or you could heed the game's warning and manage your time better instead of demanding that they fix your own inability to listen. You're given half an hour's notice to finish your business and be done, typically. If you decide to keep going, you're gambling your energy at your own risk, and deserve whatever befalls you.
Lol, our group managed to beat Royal Jelly before the Server shut down :3 (2 mins before)
But, yeah, we were one of the fools trying to outrun the time limit :o
However, maintenance posts were posted every few minutes beforehand, therefore
energy for something like not reading should not be needed
Oh ho.
I remembered when we had less time to quit.
I remembered that the earliest we got the server rebooting messages was 10 minutes (may or may not be accurate.)before it booted.
I remembered that a few friends and I were totally epic and wrecked all of Jelly King's palace in around 10 minutes.
Isn't there a thirty minute warning? That's enough to hit the next Basil or city in T1 or T2.
The corrected 60 minute warning for last night's maintenance was just about right. Enough time to finish T2 if you already started, which is what I want.
If you log on, see the maintenance warning and try to do a run anyway you have to account for your own actions if you miss it.
It's less about being greedy, and more about the fact that you were warned that the server was restarting and chose to press forward. Risk vs. Reward. I turned back when I saw the notification, you should've too.
