Weapon ideas (and polaris idea)

Ok, first i would like to say thanks for checking this thread out.

I would like to get the polaris idea out the way. As much as i dislike the polaris, (don't troll me D:) i hate the fact everyone says the charge attack is absolutely POINTLESS. so why not revamp it a bit? instead of 1 bullet, your knight could swipe the gun across the screen with a chain of bullets? not to many, only 4 or 5.

Now on to the weapon ideas..

1. Scythe: yup, i said it. i would love to see a weapon like this in this game. the speed could be moderate with a 4 or 5 hit combo. the power level will obviously be balanced enough so its not over powered. it could be a normal/shadow, normal/piercing, or normal/elemental (type varies between evolutions). The charge attack can summon a monster depending on the type to attack over a wide area. For example, the shadow version could summon a trojan that bashes the foe with his steel blade, while also doing direct damage from the sword slice

2. Gunsword: Give this a chance before lasers are fired. this can act as 2 weapons (the blade and gun) ill leave the damage type options to you. i want to see what you guys come up with

3. Axe: this could fall into the large sword category.

4. Claymore: an actual large sword. Im thinking normal completely, but that's up to you guys. Maybe a damage bonus to something like fiends?

5. Ball and chain: for the lulz. i want to hear input on this.

well, these are my ideas. i mainly want a scythe and a gunblade. but maybe OOO could get ideas for new weps from this.

What do you guys think?

1. Scythe (Many comments already, so I wouldn't bother going into that, sorry)
2. Gunsword - As in, bayonette? how about a weaker, piercing-and-normal gun that slices the opponent away a few units if they are in Caliber range, then blast away?
3. Axe - Like a brunt one, or sharp? Sort of like the Troika line, but I don't know what you mean.
4. Claymore - Just another Leviathan or Khorovod?
5. Mace - I have an idea- a charge only (like a bomb) sword-type weapon. It deals no damage when normal attacked, but when charged, it deals slow damage 360 while being charged, but when unleashed, strikes like a Troika? I don't know. That's what I got from it.

Overall, the Axe and Claymore have little change to Khorovods and Leviathans, in my eyes. The scythe... meh once again. Gunsword- I don't know, OP maybe? And as for mace, I have no clue. Pleas describe in a bit more detail what your suggestions are. Thanks.

the point was to see what everyone else would say about my suggestions, what they think the type should be and such.

gunsword wouldn't be op because its 2 different weapons, meaning if you get ONE gunsword, that's 2 wepon slots. but i also like your idea.

also, the claymore shouldn't be anything like the leviathan, and also not like the khorovod. something unique, which is where you guys come in for the ideas.

as far as scythe, I've never really seen it around here. (derp :3).

Ah, as for the scythe, look up "scythe" in the forums, please. I hope you can find something, but if you honestly can't find it, I'll post up my idea. now, for the "gunsword"....

2*-Bayonnette
Description: A modified Blaster to take a knife under the nozzle.
ATTACK: From range (Caliber range and further), the gun shoots piercing and normal damage, but at a weak start, only filling 1/10 of the damage gauge.
As for up close, the sword deals a nice swing, not shooting anything, but deals enough damage to knock an enemy back. For charge, the gun's blade extends to Charge Khorovod limitation, as well as shoot three bullets while swinging.
3*-Swift Army Knife
Description: A multi-purpose blaster-sword hybrid. Very useful for opening those cork'd bottles!
ATTACK: Same, but basic attack filling 1/4 the damage gauge for piercing, and 1/5 gauge for normal damage. For charge, it's the same, but gun shots bring in while the sword pushes.
4*-Guillotine
Description: A modified Valiance to strike fear into those in the distance and those so close you can smell their fear.
ATTACK: The Quick-Draw deals 3/5 Piercing, but 1/2 Normal damage as well as giving the gun shot sound when shot. When up close, you can swing three times your hybrid weapon. Watch out, you may swing when you want to shoot! As for charge, it's the same as always, but you shoot slightly larger bullets, and you can stun those enemies!

Now for the Mace:
3*-Bolt Basher
Description: What can we say? We took Tetherball to another level!
ATTACK: A charge weapon, like a bomb. When charging, it swerves slowly around you to shield distance, able to cause knockback and stun. During this time, you're at 1/2 speed! When released, it goes Troika all over your enemies in front. It deals purely normal damage, already able to do 1/2 damage. Deals medium extra damage to Constructs.
4*-Wrecker
Description: Want to know how to break a Heavy Plate shield? This is how.
ATTACK: The same, but deals 3/4 damage. As for the charge, it gives a larger explosion upon Constructs. Construct damage is medium.
5a*-Moonlight
Description: With an orb filled with Dark Matter, chains of pure Shadow Steel, and handle of great rubber, you're the scariest thing to Lumbers besides Vanaduke.
ATTACK: Same, but with 14/15 Normal Damage and 1/2 Shadow Damage with stun! For the Charge, it gives a very Shadowy explosion, able to launch shards of those Constructs (Damage High) at surrounding foes!
5b*-Morning Star
Description: Luminite and Sun Silver give a very painful wake up call for slacking machines.
ATTACK: Same, but with 14/15 Normal Damage and 1/2 Elemental Damage! For the Charge, it is capable to Shock those caught in the explosion. Poor Constructs take Medium damage extra. Now who's ready for Roarmulus!?
Oh, and the Knight's speed during the charge attack for the whole Bolt Basher family goes down to 1/2. You can't shield during Charge, remember? And I love the Polaris, thank you very much (I don't own one)

Claymore (**)
Description: Ever wielded something that's heavier than you are?
Damage Type: Normal
Basic Attack: A slow 3-hit combo. Think of it like a Troika with an added attack.
Combo Attack: Starts swinging the blade in a circular motion around the Knight, and causing the Knight wielding it to pirouette 4 times. Knights can also move around when the charge attack is released.

Leaded Claymore (***)
Description: Who needs regular trips to the gym when you have this?
Damage Type: Normal
Basic Attack: A slow 3-hit combo. Think of it like a Troika with an added attack.
Combo Attack: Starts swinging the blade in a circular motion around the Knight, and causing the Knight wielding it to pirouette 5 times. Knights can also move around when the charge attack is released.

Hurricane (****)
Description: Turns the Knight into a walking natural disaster.
Damage Type: Normal
Basic Attack: A slow 3-hit combo. Think of it like a Troika with an added attack.
Combo Attack: Starts swinging the blade in a circular motion around the Knight, and causing the Knight wielding it to pirouette 5 times. Knights can also move around when the charge attack is released. Moderate chance of moderate stun.
Enemies slightly outside the hit radius will be sucked in.

Supercell (*****)
Description: Nothing is more destructive than a sword that splits clouds into two.
Damage Type: Normal
Basic Attack: A slow 3-hit combo. Think of it like a Troika with an added attack.
Combo Attack: Starts swinging the blade in a circular motion around the Knight, and causing the Knight wielding it to pirouette 5 times. Knights can also move around when the charge attack is released. Moderate chance of moderate stun.
Enemies slightly outside the hit radius will be sucked in.

Black Hole (****)
Description: Just don't get within that event horizon.
Damage Type: Normal/Shadow
Basic Attack: A slow 3-hit combo. Think of it like a Troika with an added attack.
Combo Attack: Starts swinging the blade in a circular motion around the Knight, and causing the Knight wielding it to pirouette 5 times. Knights can also move around when the charge attack is released.
Enemies slightly outside the hit radius will be sucked in; but at a larger radius than the Hurricane line of swords.

Schwarzschild Negator (*****)
Description: Turns anything near you into pulp faster than the speed of light itself.
Damage Type: Normal/Shadow
Basic Attack: A slow 3-hit combo. Think of it like a Troika with an added attack.
Combo Attack: Starts swinging the blade in a circular motion around the Knight, and causing the Knight wielding it to pirouette 5 times. Knights can also move around when the charge attack is released.
Enemies slightly outside the hit radius will be sucked in; but at a larger radius than the Hurricane line of swords.
