Just wondering... can you equip two of the same trinket? Just asking thx.
Trinkets Help
Any idea how it stacks?
For example, my base damage is 100. I equip (1) Elite Slash Module. Does this add 20% damage or does it add 20 points of damage? So, when I equip another one for (2) Elite Slash Modules is my damage now 140 points or is it a stacking of percentages to total 144 points (100*1.2(1.2))?
Numbers used above are completely imaginary for purposes of discussion and are assumed to apply to status resists and ASI and all equally.
They're like any other bonuses from any other equipment.
Slash modules are the equivalent of wearing one skolver piece or a barbarous thorn shield.
If you never had this question about other bonuses & UV's, why are you asking about trinkets specifically?
We aren't given the exact formulas on how damage is calculated, so you'd have to rely on results from tests.
PS: 100 x 0.2 x 0.2 = 4
Depending on the depth and also on neutrality of damage, the damage increase is a set percentage that we have recorded data of 7%-8.5% at least for each "level" of damage increase (where there are 6 levels that range from low to max), as far as T2 is concerned.
For context, that would mean an Elite Slash Module gives at least 14%-17% (and 28%-34% if you wear two) increased damage if the damage registers as a neutral source, but the effective percentage increase is lower when you hit something that is weak against your weapon, as weaknesses are on a separate additive-damage-layer and thus aren't affected by % increases directly.
If that was a bit confusing, you can read the damage tables compiled here for more perspective:

Oh, and I realized I didn't answer your question directly, Debianlinux. The damage calculation doesn't apply separate multipliers; the percentage increases get added first before multiplying the damage, like mentioned in the second paragraph in this post.
the numbers do not compound..
so having 2 trinkets at 20% each is only 140 not 144... but as Volebamus has said it's actually around 7~8% per level so the elite one is double that.
additional information that may be helpful
and you need to choose ctr, damage or attack speed to your personal preference.
damage is the highest dps
charge time reduction takes about half a second off the charge per 2 levels (elite trinket) and are very useful for weapons with good charge attacks
asi does increase damage, but is considered more of the defensive option, as for slow swords you recover faster, or you can shield quicker after swings.
