Do you think i should still make the DA? Seems a bit obselete now, i have each damage type...

need, no, but I would still build an elemental sword if I were you. Try a brandish, then you will have all the sword speeds covered, barb is fast, brandish med, and faust is slow.

i have both GF and DA and
i have both GF and DA and (and working on a blizzbrand + archeron just for kicks) and i use a gigawatt as a side arm.
ATM i only have 2 weapon slots so i always look for what typ of enemy's i'm going to encounter and take eighter my faust or my avenger (or if i realy need to my levi for it's speed but most of the times i use it for fiends)
so to answer your question NEED? no. WANT? maybe. would it be usefull? sure, use your polaris on gunpups, howlitzers & to stay away from lumbers just to be safe (it can cancel the attack like the sword combo does on GP) and use your DA for the other constructs (skutllebots, mechaknights retrodes...)
so i would say IF you have spare tokens (or just like to do RJ runs) or have a spare SS lying around i would recomend making the DA (not forcing you to do anything haha) but with it i would recomend to get maximum ASI (trough UV/trinkets/armor. because of it i think it ROCKS haha (also the charge is so much fun to spam in FSC)
No, you don't need the DA. As you said, you have all three non-normal damage types. Furthermore, if any of these were going to be elemental, you'd want it to be the gun, because that is the best single choice against turrets. So your setup is very solid. Congratulations.
Do you also have 5-star armor? If not, then craft that next.
Once you have your basic weapons and armor crafted, then are you just going to stop crafting? Or are you going to go for more items, that aren't strictly necessary? If so, then an elemental sword such as DA should be near the top of your list.
