Hating on More Noobs in IMF

I be running with random pubs like always and this Newbie insists on doing the switches for the Roarmulus Twins. I was like sure, he can have fun, but he was doing it incorrectly. I have a couple of things to say to the noobs that run IMF.
1. Do not concentrate on one of the twins. That twin will eventually be invulnerable which means you should hit the other twin. There is a good indicator which is a purplish curved line which means that twin is invulnerable to any damage. It may be your first time, so I will give you some slack.
2. Listen to your party members. I gave hints in the beginning to see that if you would get it. Later on, I got tired and told you to hit the other one and yet you insist on hitting the twin on the right side. Either you have so much hatred for the right twin or you can't read, I don't know. At this point, I'm waiting until you die nub.
3. Do not expect revives from anyone if you are screwing the party. Come on dude, everyone told you to hit the other twin. And when you died, you begged for a revive. I would dance on your grave several times because I was happy you killed yourself with missiles and I was even more happy you used CE to revive and eventually died again. :)
I be hating, because there is a huge amount of these noobs that do not listen. If I encounter one, okay, just some really bad noob. But if I see multiple of them, I'm like okay, are they getting information from each other and flocking together to become more noob?
If anyone has been through this situation, yes I feel your pain and I felt it many times. I will be hating and will continue to hate, but this time its more directed towards noobs that do not listen ;) Don't mind me, I be hating.

never did T2 boss runs with noobs (or maybe 1 or 2 RJ runs don't remember tough haha) but i can think this will get on your nerves. i always ran IMF & RT with friends so one would always run ahead to disable the rockets and the other could pass (both so we wouldn't run into a rocket with our shield and hit a party member) i never do the switches in the boss fight (i dunno why but i rather keep the scutllebots busy and be ready to jump on the twins haha) i do however protect the one doing the switches (shielding the sparks from the twins and bumping aways the bots) but unfourtunatly i did my VERY LAST run today because the lag in the IMF is just not fun anymore, i run into more shockfields by accident then i can blink my eyes :(
next time just say "i do the switches you keep the litlle buggers busy and when you see me running DO THE SAME" haha that allways works and if somebody dies in the bossfight... well he doesn't deserve a revive!
I even wonder how you could even die there??? 1. healthpills? 2. only things realy aiming at you are the scuttlebots... and 3. if you run into a rocket well you need help or stop playing hahaha

I like to carry pugs through the ICMF. Its fun, but kind of sad.. I get so much heat on those levels, despite how little they give out.

@Lsdakfjlkfdajlkads So, you met Mr Pants-on-Head too, did you? Quite the fellow, he is. Quite the vexing fellow...

Today on RT I was carrying two noobs with me. Final battle comes along, I lag, so I surrender controls over to one of the noobs. He fails at it more than I did when I lagged. I take back control and win in a few attempts, as opposed to his 20 tries to get one hit on the RT's. (one of the dudes just left - -why idk).
Moral of the story, noobs need to watch and learn a few times before they do that stuff :)

Eh. Bad or new players exist in every game.
Although it's frustrating to see someone ignore all your advice and contribute absolutely nothing to a fight, it's unavoidable that you'll run into these people in open parties at times, so I try not to let it bother me too much.

at least in SK you can choose to 'go solo'
when playing games like league of legends... that's not really an option..

When i was new to ICMF, i insisted on doing the swotches. I did fairly well, but didn't notice a scuttlebot creeping up on me. Dead, and the roarmolous twins died shortly after. In relation to your number 1, on the last stage, do focus on 1 twin. that way, it becomes easier.
Also, has anyone noticed the amount of people in plain cobalt going down to the RT. I had oneewho had searing and shocking edge equipped. told them to get better weapons, then laft.
i want my puslar, but i can't get it.:(

I am always curious why it seems in recent months, people call pugs pubs. :v
Anywho, I can imagine it sucks to have that one guy who doesn't listen. But in my opinion, it does suck to have them just sitting there dead too, corpses get hit by missiles and blow up and that 2-3 set of missiles being lost can make hitting the twins go wonky. It really sucks having half the group down on the floor dead. Maybe it's just my groups with that guy who always seems to die in the worst spot and screw up the missiles.
I don't mind new people and all to the RT fight, and I don't mind people new people doing the switches to learn (I've let people to get it down) but I can see where it can be irritating when that completely new guy (who has never done them before) is like, "I wanna flip switches!" I didn't start doing switches until the 2nd or 3rd time I did RT. I wanted the general strat down first before I started doing that stuff. And even still, I was far from 'good' at the timing. But with practice I learned and got better. RT is my favorite boss, haven't run in a while though because I play via Steam and it's just a nasty lag fest now-a-days and laggy already on top of lag in IMF sounds like nothing but deathfest.

"Eh. Bad or new players exist in every game."
This is true, but in every MMO I've ever played, poor players are over-represented in pugs.
OOO has done a good job of incentivizing the vets to play in pugs with the rez system that lets better players farm heat off poorer players, but it only works well in T2. Snarbolax is the only thing worth visiting T1 for once you've been playing more than a day and it's far more efficient to solo in T3 than it is to carry someone(s) who will literally need rezzed every other minute.
RT isn't too bad, you need 1 person who knows the fight to do switches, at least 1 person who isn't pants-on-the-head stupid to cover the first person, and everyone else to understand they shouldn't hit switches. I have kicked people out of my party in the middle of the RT fight because they kept hitting switches after I repeatedly asked them not to but that's pretty rare, tbh.

"1. Do not concentrate on one of the twins. That twin will eventually be invulnerable which means you should hit the other twin. There is a good indicator which is a purplish curved line which means that twin is invulnerable to any damage. It may be your first time, so I will give you some slack."
This is true for every phase except the last, when both are moving and shooting laser beams. You only need to damage one twin at that point.
I actually run IMF by myself because I was sick of people holding me back and just making the twins stronger. I actually played with a guy who had his first time fighting them with me and he was so compliant with what I told him and he did great. There are so many easy tips like your first one (which I use all the time) that I can't stand that people don't follow. In the early stage of the match where the twins don't move, its best to damage them both to the point where you can take them out with like two hits the next time the missile hits.
I really need to make a video guide for these bosses since it seems some tricks are still relatively unknown even now and then there's the bad players problem.

The first time I ran IMF solo (my third or 4th time overall), I had a heat level 3 striker (worse than most 2* swords because the second half swing doesn't connect to the Twins), a Twisted Targe below heat 10, an elemental cloak below heat 5, a heat 10 demo helm, and a cryotech alchemer. I had some close calls in a few rooms before the twins, but the twins were easy.
IMF is the easiest boss zone for a skilled player to carry through an entire party, as long as the less skilled leave the switches alone. I love going with a PUG there. If they prove in the earlier levels that they're incompetent with switches, I just go solo for the boss. If they're good with switches or willing to let me handle it, I don't care if they are otherwise useless. It's a very easy boss to take care of solo, and it only gets longer, not more dangerous, with more non-switch-hitting people.

I let noobs in my party to IMF, and I give them the basics about Roarmulus Twins. If they fall, I can finish the boss battle myself, and they'll have to wait on the floor until I have enough hearts to revive them... or they can revive at their expense. lol
Wear shock-resistant armor. Purposedly get shocked and run towards noobs. Hug them so they die by the shock.
One piece of Mercurial and/or some high UV should be enough.
Note: if the leader is the noob, you may get kicked.
