Currently, nearly all of my gear (and I have a lot of weapons) is 4* with only two 3*s (Twisted Targe and Prismatech Alchemer Mk II). Although I have only one armor set, I do not plan to get more until I get some 5*s. Personally, I feel that I have enough good equipment and want to upgrade one of my 4*s to a 5*.

Here is a list of my equipment:

Ascended Calibur
Avenger
Faust
Silent Nightblade
Dark Thorn Blade
Blzebrand
Guns
Gigawatt Pulsar
Strike Needle
Shadow Driver
Prismatech Alchemer Mk II (out of discussion)
Bombs
Electron Bomb
Radiant Sun Shards (out of discussion)
Freezing Atomizer
Armor and Helmet
Ash Tail set
Shield
Blackened Crest
Wise Owlite Shield
Twisted Targe (out of discussion)

In my opinion I should upgrade either one of my weapons or one piece of Ash Tail. I do not think it is practical for me to upgrade Ascended Calibur to Leviathan Blade since I plan on having 3 weapon slots always and I normally do not bring bombs so I am free to bring my Gigawatt + 2 of Avenger/Dark Thorn Blade/Blazebrand/Silent Nightblade/Faust. I think I should either get one piece of Ash Tail to Vog Cub or upgrade one of my swords (I am thinking of Avenger). What do you guys think?
By the way, I normally do either FSC or RJP and I am planning to do FSC more than RJP.

elemental armor?

Ordinarily I'd recommend that you upgrade your weapons first, because Tier 3 is more about offense than defense. However, you don't have any elemental armor. So how about you upgrade one piece of Ash Tail to Vog Cub? Then you have some elemental and fire protection. This makes gun puppies and FSC easier. After that, upgrade your most-used weapons?

So FSC you say? Yeah, hate to repeat what has always been repeated, but since you already have the Ash Tail set, go to Vog Cub set first before weapons or shield. All of your swords will get the bonus ASI from that upgrade, and protection against elemental and fire ends up being very useful in general at T3.

Just to mention, as you still will do RJP, going to Vog Cub will make you actually weaker against Jellies. If you were ever a hyper-aggro player in that area, you might find yourself shielding more often to prevent damage, as you'll lose the piercing protection.

Thanks, I was planning to get Vog Cub and now I am definitely going to get it first.
FSC is more rewarding and harder than RJP so that's why I wanted to upgrade to Vog Cub. I can do RJP solo without deaths but not FSC (I can solo only D24 and D26 without deaths). I think I can still solo RJP without deaths even if I lost piercing protection.

Since T2 deals half-normal,

Since T2 deals half-normal, and the Vog will still retain some power if you do lower strata, the loss of piercing shouldn't be that much.
