A guy named "Yellowkid" took all my mats, 100 energy, 2,000 crowns to make me a Fused Demo Helm. When I gave them he took off to the Town and logged off. I haven't gotten a hold of him since and am hoping some Gm or someone can help me. And also to warn everyone to never deal with this guy ever if tries to sell you something.

There -is- an in-game 'complain this player' on almost every menu to do with a player, and if you can't find anywhere that player still exists, you can '/complain '
it is better to do this sooner than it is to do it later, of course.
You could also try sending him a /tell if you see him online letting him know that running off with that is scamming and therefore a bannable offense. He might repay you, or at least say something incriminating. (I sorta assume that there's a certain amount of chatlog included with a complaint based on experience with another three rings game, but I don't know for certain. Having a confession 'on tape' as it were is always good, although a player getting banned does not guarantee any restitution.)

Gosh, that really stinks. I'm sorry that happened to you. Thank you though for posting a warning. Karma is alive and well, so one way or another this kid will get his. Shame there are always those that take advantage of others. I guess my only suggestion (and it is only my opinion) Find yourself a nice guild to join, there are many here and then you can deal with only those in your guild.
I do agree with what others have said, report him to three rings. Even if he makes another account they will have his IP address and they can ban the IP. He could even try with another computer and it wouldn't matter.

i empathize
i too got screwed by a player named yamarin or something. i was too angry to stay on so i do not have the information in front of me. but it started with a Y and he was wearing one of the gun hats and ponchos. i asked him to buy a recipe for me and told him i would give him half up front and the rest after. he took the first half (5k cr) for the 10k recipe (blizzbrand) and logged off. is there anything that a gm could do to make me not hate him so much?
edit: just checked there is a player called yamarin but i am not 100% that he is the player in question.

Everyone have bean screwed ones in SK i was during BETA he told me the same thing all make the Armour and helmet you need and he left off line,
but i have learn to no't trust no body in SK NO BODY AT ALL!.... i only trust my wife and my self we have bean playing SK with me since BETA.
