It would be nice if there's an option to "un-transmute" crafted items and return half of the mats used to transmute them (except for the crowns and energy). The process will also not cost any crowns or energy. Also, un-transmuting an item will not rollback the item to its "previous star" version. It will just give back half of the mats used for all tiers of transmutation.

Here are the benefits I thought of:
1. It reduces the time spent needed to craft new items with similar mats.
2. It keeps your inventory clean and minimal.
3. It will be possible to get rid of the items you no longer need (e.g. unwanted UVs, mistakenly crafted items).
4. It amplifies the spirit of Free to Play.

Just an idea guys. Thought it would be useful. Thanks for reading. :)

Already been suggested.

Already been suggested. No-one likes it, because it'll make some things cheaper and may hurt OOO's wallet.
You can already keep inventory clean and get rid of unwanted things by selling to vendor anyways.

Yeah, that's the problem,

Yeah, that's the problem, really - it'd potentially be a great thing for players, but it'd hurt Three Rings' income.

I don't see why not,

I don't see why not, materials are already worthless.

Wouldn't it make more sense

Wouldn't it make more sense just to sell something to the vendor if you're that dead set on getting rid of it? It fulfills 2, 3 and probably 4 easily, and as for 1 it would be easier to craft anything else if you got crowns which could potentially buy you whatever mats you needed as opposed to only getting specific mats.
