Having Haven as the only gathering place for players, it can get kind of boring. That's why I think towns such as Moorcroft Manor and Emberlight should no longer be instanced, and should be open to all players with the ability to access its respective tier, and maybe even have a specific gate that allows direct access to that town, with the right qualifications.

No thanks. We don't need to

No thanks. We don't need to divide the playerbase up when it isn't that large to begin with.

Oh and I thought

Oh and I thought this was to make Haven not instanced. As Khamsin said, we don't really need that, do we? Though I would like to have less channels, many tend to be quite empty, so it would make a much animated Haven. Maybe laggy too, but at least there would be more people together.

Back in the day of closed

Back in the day of closed beta the towns were uninstanced and had their own arcade. The reason was because not all gates went straight down to the core, in fact, some of them would end at Moorlight or Emberlight and you'd have to switch to another elevator. If I recall it was because the depth depended on the gate construction so if there weren't enough players putting in crystals you wouldn't have a way down to the core.

I have to say it was rather neat and they were only bare because of the closed beta. But they were fun little hubs and a change of pace. It didn't really add to the game but it also didn't take away, and I would actually like them to revert back if they ever consider it (but they probably won't).

I feel like OOO has probably

I feel like OOO has probably considered this subject a lot, but the thing with SK is that its a relatively new game, and thus aren't many players in it. As aforementioned, more places would really spread the players out a lot, leaving lots of empty gaps.
