So, I decided to venture to this game yet again even after I left for around a few months... you know... uni and such. However, it isn't too bad and I have free time that I like for something to fill out. I saw that Spiral Knights came out on steam and I thought to myself to give it another run.
I left with 4* gear for the most part and I decided to buy the 30 USD CE package and used some of the CE to make my armor/shield/weapon to 5*(vog,owl, and DA).
I managed to find my old guild which welcomed me back even though it's in new management. I saw the improvements in Jelly King and now think of it as something I need to try in.
Anyways, can anyone fill me out in the new content and what I should do? I have 5k CE left and don't know what to do with it yet (that does not include people begging). Last time I left it was around the Rose Regalia sale.

If he left around the first rose event then he would have only know about jelly king and vanaduke. The other 2 bosses came later.
Welcome back. Course, I joined at the steam release i have little idea who you are, but i'll try to help.
There was a second Rose Regalia sale, so there's another 3 sets running around. About actual content, there are shadow lairs. They are extremely toughened up versions of the four bosses and their lairs: you wanna be specific in selecting your gear. You can get to them with a shadow key, either buy one off the auction house or waste time / money on iron lockboxes and silver keys to get them out of the box. You get to the shadow lairs by going to depth 23 on any gate. There are 3 clearances: level 1 only lets you take on Snarbolax, level 2 lets you take on the Royal Jelly and the Roarmulus Twins, and level 3 is Vanaduke.
