I'm making a fan fiction story. This one will be easy to make because I will not need the help of other knights for characters, as it follows the journey of three monsters, as implied by the title.

The trio mentioned is:

Char-
Race: Salamander
Gender: Male
Home: Blast Furnace, Wild Path, Depth 11

Yurdle-
Race: Sloom
Gender: ??? (As he/she/it is a slime, it is unclear, but Yurdle will be addressed as a "he")
Home: Lichenous Lair, Shocking Synthesis (Sleep is not a status theme, so i'll just go with him living in a shock area) Depth 24

Ellik-
Race: Devilite, Devil-IT (Shock)
Gender: Female
Home: Devilish Drudgery, Wired for Synergy, Depth 6

Chapter 1: Mayhem in the Blast Furnace

It was a dreadful day in the Blast Furnace. Knights had been flying in frantically, passing through to get to the Royal Jelly Palace 3 depths ahead.
Char was tired. He hade faced near death from a Flourish many times today.

"Ahh... that was a mess," he said.
Char could remember it all...

Wolvers biting, howling and roaring. Terrified Salamanders throwing magma goo everywhere. Menders and Thwackers struggling to heal the crowds of monsters and keep up the fight.

Utter chaos.

But, eventually the monsters were defeated. Char, a few Ash Tails, two other Salamanders, and a small squad of Gremlins fled for safety.
After he had settled down, Char noticed a nice little bit of meat lying around. He walked toward it to investigate. it seemed fine. He gobbled it down. There was a small click.

Then the Monster Cage closed.

Chapter 2: The Slime Capture

Being a Sloom was hard.
An endangered species.

Slooms had been hunted to the edge of extiction by some of the first Knights to land on Cradle.

But Yurdle had found a safe place, and lived a luxurious life, in terms of most monsters.
He had roamed the Clockworks for years, but one day, he discovered this place.

It was a Shock-themed Lichenous Lair deep within Tier 3. Few knights ever passed through.
But, one day, they brought Cages.

Yurdle was taking a stroll trough the large grassy areas when four Knights ran up. He quickly fled into a rock crevice.
"Hmm..... find some of those Lichens and capture them," said one of the Knights.

Oh no, Yurdle thought. They are taking samples!! I must warn the Quicksilvers. He would have to run for it.
He flung himself out towards the clearing and towards the cave where the Quicksilvers lived. but the Knights spotted him.

"Hey!! Is that..... a Sloom? Ahh.. looks like our lucky day, we found a rare one!"
The Knights sprinted at Yurdle. Move faster, he thought.

But then the Knights were upon him. And so was the Cage.

Chapter 3: A Boring Work Day in the Underworld

Another work day. Ugh. Ellik had always wordered what a free life was like. Devilites had a pathetic vacation time, so there was no real hint of freedom there.

But today, everything was going to change for Ellik. She didn't know that the Knights coming through were not regular Knights.

They were collecting monsters, for reasons unknown.
They already had a Salamander and Sloom.

They wanted a Devil-IT.

As Ellik filed papers and wrote documents for her Pit Boss, the alarm sounded. Knights! She thought. She quickly grabbed some circuit boards to throw and shuffled outside with all the other Devilites.

The Knights fought fiercely. The Devilites were losing. Ellik still fought, only to be stopped by a Tempered Calibur to the face. Making the characteristic Devilite noise of failiure, she flew backwards.

Right into the Monster Cage.

Chapter 4: The Cell

Yurdle shifted uncomfortably in his cage. Oh no, he thought, what are they going to do to me?
Char was exausted. He had tryed melting his way out with magma goo, but the cage must have been fire-proof, as it did nothing.
Ellik had tryed cutting it open with a broken circuit board. No better results.

They were stuck.

Then the cage opened and they fell into a small cell.
"Ugh... where are we?" asked Yurdle.
"I don't know.... Haven maybe?" replied Char.
"Well whatever this place is, we need to get out," added Ellik.

"We can't even see each other, much less get out. Wait.... eww.... what's this.... squishy thing?"
"That would be... uhh... me, i'm a Sloom," said Yurdle.
"Oh," replied Char, "I'm a Salamander."
"Devilite."

A Knight came later with some food.
Meat for Char.
A Forbidden Fruit for Ellik
And... some strange substance that Yurdle absorbed into himself.

Then a scientist appeared.
"Hmm," he said, "These will make fine specimens for dissection."

Oh gods, they all though, they are going to cut us open!

"I have a plan," said Yurdle. "Hold your breath."
"Ok," replied the two others.

There was a small squelch as Yurdle released sleep gas.
It floated out of the bars and they heard two muffled clunks.

Then snoring. They were asleep.

"Now," said Yurdle to Char,"Use your tongue to get the key."

Char hopped up and with a flick of the tongue the key was theirs.

Yurdle donated a bit pf goo to stick the key to a circuit board that Ellik provided.
Now they could reach the lock.

The key went in. A click. The door opened.

A squad of Knights stood waiting.

Chapter 5: Escape!

"Oh no," they all said.

The three mnsters were blocked off by Knights.

But the only way out was forwards.
And so they went..... forwards.

Char bounced himself at the Knights with great fury, using Yurdle's squishy back as a springboard.
He grabbed onto the head of one of the Knights and spit goo, setting him on fire.

"AIEEE!!" he scraemed, "I'M ON FIRE!"
The captain of the squad threw a Freezing Atomizer to the Knight to use on himself.
But it was useless.
The Knight was already down.

Yurlde bludgeoned the captain with his squishy body, then released sleep gas.
"There," he said, "Take a nice little nap.."

Ellik was dodging and throwing circuitboards as the third Knight took shots at her with a Master Blaster.

With a spare motherboard to the head, Ellik ended the fight.

They were out.
"Those Knights definitely underestimsted us."
They ran to the arcade and onto a lift.
They waited for a knight to activate it, then pushed him off and descended.

Chapter 6: To the Aurora Isles

"Hmmm.... where do we go to live now?" asked Ellik.
"Our old homes are in to much danger, so we must find a safe place," added Yurdle.
"Of course!" he said, "The Aurora Isles! It is deep in Tier 3, and full of monsters. Few Knights ever go there."
"Then its settled," they all agreed, "To the Aurora Isles!"

The lift opened in a grassy area, surrounded by ruins.
Jellycubes, Chromalisk, and Scuttlebots everywhere.
A safe haven.

They quickly went in to settle down.
Char conversed with the indeginous Chromas.
Yurdle joined up with a group of Jellycubes.
Ellik was a bit distant, as there were no monsters of her family there.

Then she saw a lone Greaver. She walked over to him.
"Nice to see another Fiend here," he said.
"Yep." Ellik replied.

The Greaver explained that his name was Vazik, and that he had fled here when a fatal malfunction in the Clockworks Tunnel he lived in caused it to plummet into the void below.

For the three monsters, it was nice to have friends.
It was nice to have safety.

But soon, safety would grow boring.

And the trio's next adventure would begin.

Star Wars? If so, no, that'd be Yaddle. Female version of Yoda's species. Died by Bio-weapon detonation. True master of the force. Probably Pro-er then Yoda, and nicer.

Well....

I am sort of a SW fan so maybe i was sort of influenced by my subconscience or something.

Who knows?

Anyway i'm coming up with new material for the group first real adventure.
As the end of Ch. 6 The Aurora Isles suggests, they would leave their safe home to explore and get into some trouble, a few fights, maybe a dramatic edge....

I like to make the end of the chapters suspenseful, as you can see. (All the characters are captured at the ends of their starting chapters for example.)

Or when they finally escape the cell in Haven and see a squad of Knights waiting for them.

But of course the Knights were totally beaten.

Goes to show that you should never underestimate monsters.

Also....

Ya, I already introduced Vazik the Greaver, and though he is not part of the Trio, he is a semi-main character.
I might also make a semi-main character who is a Jellycube.

I might make as sort of short story fan fiction thread that goes into more detail about Vazik's past, as well as the possible new Jellycube character.

By chance I happened to meet Atgatg in game.

I think it will feature a huge battle- Trio + Vazik Vs. A bunch of angry Constructs

Chapter 7- Gears and Cogs

The Trio had decided to take a trip out of the Aurora Isles to go around and look for food and materials.
Their searhing cause them to end up in a Blast Furnace.

Char seemd to be enjoying it, but Ellik was swetting a lot.
Yurdle was sagging, as Slimes don't have the ability to sweat, they just become slightly less solid.

Eventually the heat forced them to take a break.
No one could fall asleep onthe uncomfortable hot iron floor, so Yurdle did it himself.

They were in deep sleep.

Unaware of the sound of clanking metal and turing gears slowly getting closer.....

They woke with a start as Char came awake and yelled in terror.
They were surround by a group of Retrodes!

Ellik imediatly began bolting circuitboards at them. They bounced off with no effect.
Yurdle knew they had to up the anti.

At the top of his lungs (or whatever a Lichen has) he yelled-

YOU HAVE NO VACATION!!! EVER!!!

This set Ellik off, exactly the desired effect.
She turned into an Overtimer and began mercilessly plowing down the Retrodes with her newly obtained trident.

But more were coming. They were greatly outnumbered.
Then they heard the raspy voice of a Gremlin. Several of the monster to their right fell randomly and without warning.
Vazik took this to his advantage and grabbe Char, swooping over the horde as Char drop magma goo al over them.
The Gremlin they had heard was still felling monsters.
He was an Darkfang Thwacker, and he as highly skilled with his hammer and he dodged and swung.
Soon the first wave of monsters were down.
Vazik paused to celebrate.

"Look out!" yelled Ellik.

But it was too late.

And so the Lumber's arm came down.

Update

Ok, I really wanted a new Gremlin character, so here he is.
(Vazik is not dead)
His name is Dahkrel, he's a junior engineer but sort of comes around and helps the group sometimes.
Eventually he just becomes permanent and stays at the Aurora Isles.

So there is our newest character.

Chapter 8- Disaster on the Platform

The Lumber smashed its mighty arm down upon Vazik.
The Gremlin soon took the Lumber down, sending it clear off the plaform with a Deconstructor. More Scuttlebots and Retrodes were approaching.
They would have to run. Ellik pulled Vazik off the ground and loaded him onto Yurdle's back. They moved towards the lift, only a few yards away.

Then an explosion rocked the platform, and it tipped slightly with a horrible moaning sound.
Then they saw why.

Along with the approaching Constructs, there were a few Gremlin Demos.
They were going to bring down the whole platform!
Vazik came to his senses, and after Yurdle explained the situation, Vazik simply said-

"Not this again!"

But it was happening again.

Three more explosions sent shockwaves across the platform.
It was listing precariously to one side.

The lift was just a while away.
"Come on!" shouted Char. "Almost there!"

But almost wasn't good enough.

The gargantuan explosion from a Heavy Deconstructor went off in the distance.

And then the platform gave way with a terrible screeching sound of metal scraping metal.

And then they were falling.... falling.... falling.....

Chapter 9- The Glacial Plateau

The falling platform broke apart, and the chunk that our heroes rested on was swept to the side of the orb that the Blast Furnace was housed in, saving them from the unforgiving magma below.

With a horrible crash, they smashed through.

They were in freefall.
They hopelessly fell towards another orb, where thet also broke through the outer shell.
They were instantly surrounded by frigid temperatures and a fierce everlasting blizzard.

They could see nothing through the snow.
Then there was a loud crash, and the world fell into darkness.

Char woke up on a splintered piece of metal, on a rocky ground.
Yurdle woke up a few yards away, under a pile of rubble that he easily sqeezed out of.
Ellik woke up next to Vazik, right next to the Gremlin.
And then he woke up as well.
Everyone shuffled around until they found each other.

They had a full group of five.
The Gremlin, after saving them, saw it fit to introduce himself.

"My name is Dahkrel, I'm a mechanic. I saw you were in trouble, so I came to help. Evidently the Demos didn't see me, or they would have never dropped the platform. Anyway, I guess i'm here with you now."

"But what is 'here' anyways?" asked Char.
" I don't know." responded Vazik. "But we are in deep troub-"

An unearthly roar tore across the plateau.

Chapter 10- Skolver

"What the heck was tha-"
NRAAAGHHEEEE!!!!!!
The freakish roar sounded again.
"AHH! What is that?!"
"I don't know!!"

Then the ground began to rumble and there was a blast of ice somewhere off to the west.
Then three golden swords flew off into the sky.

"Was that a Divine Avenger?"
"Whatever's making that noise must be fight some Knights," Dahkrel said.
"So, what do we do?"

"We move towards the action."

And with that, Char ran off.
He was making sure he got his way by making sure that no one had time to argue.

And so they followed.

Meanwhile-
"AARGHH!!!"
"This Skolver is tough! Take her down!" a Knight yelled.
"The only one going down.... IS YOU!!!" shrieked the Skolver.
She let out a massive blast of ice.
Al the Knights were frozen.

And she ran in the other direction.

She was moing through the rocky crag when she skidded to a halt in front of something quite peculiar.

A lone Salamander.

Chapter 11- The Rocky Crags

What is a Salamander doing here? she thought.
"AIEEE!!!! Huge monster!!!"
"Was that Char?!"
"We have to hurry it up!"
"Get a move on!"

They stumbled down the slope into the rocky crevice.

And they saw something so shockingly amazing and terrifying, they couldn't believe their eyes.
"Is that.... a ..."

"SKOLVER!!!"

"Why are you here!?" she bellowed, "What do you want?!"

"We aren't here to cause trouble! Please! We mean no harm! Don't hurt us!!"

"Oh really...... Prove it!!!"
"If you can defeat me in combat, I will believe you."

"What?!! they all shouted, "How do we beat a Skolver"

"Hmph. You'll figure it out," the Skolver said, "Or not."
And then she attacked.

Chapter 12- Frostbite

"Dodge!!! Dodge!!!" Char yelled as Skolver viciously lunged forward, taking a huge chomp, but luckily for our heroes, only biting air. She then jetted to the spot where Dahkrel was standing and lashed out with her tail, knocking him into the rocky walls.
"Now!" Yurdle shouted as the Skolver was left vulnerable for a split second. They all jumped her, attacing with full force, only to be thrown off, flying into the air.

Then the Skolver reared up and with an unatural roar, breathed a huge stream of icy wind onto Yurdle and Vazik.
Yurdle was flash frozen to the ground and Vazik fell out of the sky, frozen and stiff.
"Yurdle! Vazik! NOOOO!!"

Ellik went Overtimer, lashing forwards, breaking the ice around the unfortaunate Sloom and Greaver. She then advanced and threw her trident right at the Skolver.

It connected with her leg, and blood started to leak out. She let out an unearthely shriek, and then lunged for another bite.

And landed right on........

Chapter 13- Geoffrey of Bloogley

"Ouch! That rather hurt!" yelled the Impostocube as he was thrown backward.
"Why would you do that? It was rather rude of you!"

The Skolver gave him a puzzled look.

"I am Geoffrey of Bloogely, the noble slime."
At this point everyone was confused.

"See, I was just traveling through these part to reach the Royal Jelly Palace, where I was to have a feast with the Royal Jelly himself, along with several other aristocratic slimes. I mean you no harm , if you would kindly let me through, I will be on my way."

"Alright then. I guess the fight is over. You have my trust. Geoffrey, you can pass." the Skolver said.

Ellik had a strange bad feeling about the regal Jellycube though...

[A bit of a small chapter, but 14 will be the climax of the Skolver part]

Chapter 14- Sinister Slimes

Geoffrey shuffled along the icy terrain, with a smug look where his face would be.
"HAHAHA! Sure fooled that Skolver! Now, the Frost Gem is all mine! Once I get it, i'll be set for life!"
"Now.... just up this mountain and into that cave...."
He wobbled up the hill, and found his team of slimes waiting over a pack of defeated Frostifurs.
His accomplice, Guflaak, was waiting with several Jellycubes of all tiers.
Much like an Impostocube, he had the latest in Jelly fashion. He had a cigar where his mouth would be, and he wore a fedora.

Meanwhile, the Skolver, Yurdle, Ellik, Char, Vazik, and Dahkrel trekked onward towards the Skolver's den. Right towards Geoffrey.... neither of them knew they were about to meet and clash sooner or later. Ellik, riding on Yurdle's back, was the first to notice that something was going on. A huge crowd of slimes was waiting at the top of the mountain.

"Hey, Skolver, do you know why a whole group of Jellycubes, including Geoffry and another well-dressed slime are up there?
"The Frost Gem!!! We have to get there! Now!"
"Bu-u-t why all the rush?!"
'No time to explain, get the heck on my back, all of you, and hold on!!"

Skolver jumped onto the mountainside and began climbing up in great leaps.

Meanwhile, Geoffrey, Guflaak, and the others were alreday entering the cavern....
