For love of all that is holy and beautiful in this world:

STOP NONCHALANTLY RUNNING THROUGH ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS!

There is nothing interesting to find in a bed of thorns, so quit foraging!

Spikes are on a timer. Wait. They will go down, I promise.

Explosive blocks explode. You know what that means

Its ok if you die cause the fight is hard and you missed your block. But its really annoying to give you half my health because yours was half gone before we even got there.

I'm sorry you get stuck with players like that. You should join a good guild, play with people who try harder.

guildz? wut lol?

I did just join a guild (Swag) but none of the players have really been on when I have been. Don't know anyone yet so we shall see if they can spot the difference between safe flooring and floors that eat your soul.

For the record...

...there is sometimes something interesting to find in the bed of thorns.

Some levels just have stuff sitting in there, taunting you.

Only time I have seen stuff

Only time I have seen stuff in the bed of thorns is when someone backs a monster into it and then blasts away with their gun. They are all "loook at m3 i are avoid1ng dmg lolo! OOOOOO lootz in da th0rns!!!1

And then they run in to grab it.

This is why I have no faith in our public school system >_< (US)

The only reason I never go

The only reason I never go into spikes for loot is because people still think that if your character grabs it, you get it. (money/heat mainly.)

It's quite lolworthy, and unusually useful.

What is wrong with using your

What is wrong with using your gun or bomb to kill something in the thorn bushes/spikes when the monster refuses to leave it? Would it be better if they just ran in with their sword, stood there killing it, and taking damage at the same time? And what is wrong with using a gun to avoid damage? I thought you were upset because they were taking damage but now you are upset because they avoid it?

When in a narrow room of thorns/spikes and mobs of enemies, anything can happen and it is very easy to accidentally knock an enemy into the spikes. This is even more common if it happens right as it dies since some monsters seem to fly five feet back after a knock out.

Getting mad at players for just running into spikes because they are too lazy to wait is one thing. It is also understandable if you get upset because for whatever reason in this world they keep getting hit by the thorns for no reason. You should not be upset because a monster decided to die in that VERY spot and a really rare drop happens to be in there. (Personally though if it dropped a shard or something minor I would just leave it be and just stand close for the money and heat.)

Another issue you might want to keep in mind is that some players hit spikes/thorns due to lag either by their computer or the server. This is something many have complained about and is still a very big issue right now. This can also happen to some players that seem to suffer from the memory leak problem. The longer they play, the more their game will skip every so often.

So please calm down and stop blaming the fail because a monster died in a thorn bush.

I do agree that a lot of random groups are fail but it certainly is not because of the reasons you listed. I find those that melee and never have a care in the world to dodge or block attacks to be more of an issue.

yeah I got cursed by this

yeah I got cursed by this thread. 20 minutes after visiting here in a random level, I tabbed back in. I went to go lock or unlock my party (can't remember which) then the computer crashed. I switched to a secondary computer I use in that lab for this game since a restart would take longer. By the time I made it on, I woke up dead in the middle of spikes with my partner gone. (seems they may have tried to revive me but it was too late to help, sorry "Yoko") XD
I wasn't even near spikes when the crash happened, but the server likely remembered my last button press and kept moving me until I reached the end of the hallway >.>
