Looking for Guild Recommendations

I'm an active player who's been playing Spiral Knights for about three months. I've crafted 10 five-star items (and obtained others with tokens), buying all my Crystal Energy from other players with crowns--I even paid for a triple-UV punch on my Vog Cub Coat, though I think that was probably not worth it. I kill Vanaduke regularly (got my Gold Survivor achievement in FSC), and I'm working on new armor specifically for shadow lairs. I also spend time analyzing game mechanics and help update the wiki.
I'm looking for a guild primarily because attempting shadow lairs with a pick-up group seems like a bad idea; I'm hoping for something a little more organized. Big plus if the guild has a forum or an email list or something so I don't have to rely on asking individual people one at a time when I'm randomly online at the same time as them. (I don't currently use any instant messenger programs, unless you count Steam. I will probably not start using one purely for the sake of joining your guild.)
If the guild provides competent people to spontaneously group with in FSC, so much the better. I've got a Shivermist, but Vanaduke fights seem to go much more smoothly if I'm grouped with at least one knight with a Blitz Needle. Also, the less time I have to spend in the odd strata, the better; I've logged the crowns I earn in each level, and the difference is stark. To that extent, more active players is better.
I enjoy a game of lockdown on occasion, but I also won't shed any tears if the guild doesn't do organized PvP. I have no interest in blast network.
What guild would be a good fit for me, and why?

Joining Knights and Day! The guild gives away free stuff frequently, go on boss runs all the time and helo each other (Ex: Selling recipes at Basil Price). Hey there, Antistone. There are many, many great guilds out there in Spiral Knights and I'd be recommending some for you, but it's purely your choice to chose your fit. First of all there's Bigfootm's "Knights and Day" Guild, it's a highly active and friendly guild that farms bosses and I am pretty sure that you might be able to fit in with them. (At some point, I'm sure Bigfoot would post something down here soon also). Secondly, is Icycloud's "Coup De Grace", they also are a highly active and friendly guild that farms bosses and all, it's all up to your own decision to see what you think fits you more. As for me, my own guild "Shadow Mercenaries" is also a moderately active boss-farming guild that's fairly new compared to the 2 I mentioned above, and we are still growing, currently with 54 members. I'll be posting links to each guild's recruitment threads itself, it's all your self-judgement to all these guilds.
