Never had the fellow not drop anything, or maybe I just never payed attention, but mostly they drop a gold coin and/or some heat.

You can do that in SpiralSpy, but I don't think that is possible in-game. Both the Pipe and the Stash are both Helm front accessories (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). Unless you can stack more then one accessory in a given spot (seems unlikely)?
I love seeing Impostocubes, but I have never received anything of note from them. I even think I have seen zero drop before as well (though I would not stake my life on it).

I think this is true for all jellies, and not just the ones in RJP (which includes mr. impostocube).
I think Impostocube is a pretty cool guy. Eh drops nothing and doesnt afraid of anything.
