Engine glitch or variant model? You decide!

I was in a deconstruction zone recently, and I encountered a gremlin scorcher with no mask/fuel tank. At first I didn't know what it was, but after watching it for a while, I found it pretty interesting that there was an actual model for the gremlin beneath the mask. I wonder if this was just a rendering error or if this guy appears on a random basis like the other rare encounters.
Has anyone else seen this before?

Yep
Gremlies get more gear as you go up the tiers.
TL;DR They get more stuff the further down you go

Yeah it's kind of funny going
Yeah it's kind of funny going back to T1 with your T3 gear....it feels like you're beating up a mob of kids because all the gremlins look so wimpy in T1.
It's just a Tier 1 Scorcher that made it into T2 ---- I see em all the time :p
