So you can do Charred Court using only one sprite now. Picture above.

Great, now that'll be fixed as well.
And it was so much fun taking sprites with us on the elevator too...
I don't understand people who want to skip rooms in there. You get a ton of loot for doing every room!
Glitch is good, because after u do all rooms don't have to go retrieve every sprite and put into circle were you only will need use one to get water.
If they fix this....I'm blaming you.
It's just a fun thing to do like kidnapping the two extra ones to the elevator at the end. I doubt anybody would actually skip the rooms because they'd miss out on the loot. The game really needs more fun inconsequential things to do....like maybe if you can push the spirit mother around but she'd always try to walk back to the circle. Then if you'd get bored doing the level enough times, you can screw around and try to push her all the way to the elevator or something. Or maybe smack her around with your weapons between team members like a soccer ball.
Nooooo, don't fix this! I am bringing the sprites down with me to start a sprite colony on the Smoldering Steps, so we can raise an army to oppose the undead.
In all seriousness, anyone who is good enough to do the trick is going to do all the levels for the extra heat and crowns anyway.
Unless this is an intentional feature, then it's going to get fixed.
Errors should be rectified.
This doesn't add anything significant to the game either way.
I guess people should look at what it is said in the rules about exploiting things, hm...
At least someone had it to tell OOO the glitch, wonder if people are using other exploits like, you know, infinite crowns glitch thing?
Sprite just look like pink devilites with wings and masks...:/
Uh, if I understand correctly, the only thing this bug lets you do is put sprites on the elevator (or other places) instead of in the circle where they become uncursed. You still have to free at least 6 of them. You don't get any more crowns. You don't get water early. You can just have a little fun.
If I'm mistaken on any of this, please let me know. Don't give critical details that would let people do bad stuff, of course, but I'm pretty sure this is a harmless bug.
Yeah, it's a harmless bug imo. I wonder where the sprites go after the elevator ride...?
This bug isn't entirely harmless, it allows you to finish the level by getting a single sprite.
all we need now is a glitch that opens the gate without having to talk to that fat lazy sprite and we're good.
harmless glitch, we completed the levels anyway and have no reason to do it again since we did it just for the screenshots. There are other glitches also, one where you don't get water if you place the sprites into the circle "incorrectly". Should also do something about the glitch where the zombie jumps, misses you, and yet you still get stuck while the zombie bats away at thin air.
@Silphius So you are saying if we went to URJP or normal RJP, had 2 people stand on the pressure switches while the other 1/2 members of the team ran thru and the people on the pressure switches later died so they would be pulled thru to the party button. Would that be a bug also since it allows you to cut half of the level? (not saying the sprite glitch isnt a bug.. because it is.)
Yes it would, do keep in mind that "bug" in this particular case means coding that allows "an unintended feature" which as it stands is up to the full discretion of the developers (not the GM's). And their case probably goes like this:
The "teleport to party button" feature is a tool with debatable purposes, but is most likely intended to
* get your party members out of situations where they could normally not be saved (I had party members die in shadowfire at the first floor of FSC before. No water there.)
* give the option to actually run from enemies (the unknown passage is a good example, it allows you to make it through a level instead of making frustrating attempts to save party members from unending assault of respawning swarm creatures).
It is not however intended to get you through obstacles. In both cases there is a gate which is supposed to hinder you from progress, at least before you accomplish a certain goal. You're circumventing that goal through exploiting a feature in ways they're not intended. The gate opening to knights at all is likely exposition to show new knights that they need to find something as heavy as a knight to press the switches and continue.
I don't understand people who want to skip rooms in there. I find D25 to be really easy to do, especially if you can get someone to distract the trojans so you can fire a Blitz charge into them.
That said, that is a really interesting glitch. :o Did you send in a bug report?
