I might be asking for something that other people already asked but...

... with the Search feature I only found things that got/would be denied.

So, I was thinking about Mist Energy being changed a bit. I'm not going to ask for unlimited ME or easier to get CE. I would just like to suggest that you make the time it takes to recharge ME shorter. As in, instead of taking 22 hours to go from 0 ME to 100 ME (like it currently does), it could take 11 or 12 hours. This would make players in general happier since they would be able to play longer with ME. And with that they could also get more money with the runs they would do and it would be easier to buy CE with crowns.

I understand if OOO doesn't want to do that in case some people stop buying CE with real cash... but it would make a lot of players happy, especially since there are people like me that would gladly buy CE every month but can't do so because they don't have the money for it or the means to buy stuff through the Internet.

I hope OOO considers this a good change they could make, if enough players agree with it too. xP

@Twitt

Yes, maybe it will rise a bit. But I have to say two things:

1. I read that before SK got to Steam, CE easily got near 10k crowns or so. I wouldn't mind paying 7k or 8k (or even 9k, depending on the ammount of money we could get from the aditional runs) if OOO made ME regeneration rate faster.

2. CE prices are set by players. When I started playing SK I went to the energy symbol, then to the Trade tab and clicked "Buy 100 CE" if the price was ok for me. Then I discovered the Market, and started buying there instead because I can save a few crowns, and because that contributes to lowering the CE prices, even if a little.

I know that you might go "But lots of people don't know that" or "Not all the players bother in reading the Wiki to know that". Yes, that's true, but the people from the forums that wouldn't mind could spread the word about that and hope that more people would start buying from the Market in an attempt to lower the CE prices.

a 11 or 12 hour charge tiem

a 11 or 12 hour charge tiem would be realy annoying. most people have a time each day they are free, and its not the same for everyone. a 24 hour alows an easy consitancy on WHEN players can play. For many if not most, 12 hours from normal play time is sleep time. And thats without even considering the economic impacts.

Ugh, why does everyone wanna

Ugh, why does everyone wanna screw with the mist system. Frosty's already had a bout with me on a thread about something somewhat simmilar this if I'm correct.

Watch how this breaks the game;

Currently takes 22 hrs to regen mist.
2 spare hours in a day, enough time to regen 9 more mist. Not even enough for a level, so it's insignificant.
So in T3, FSC, I can make 900 crowns per level, times 10 is 9000 per day. (I've been told this is actualy true, it's 900 minimum per fsc level.)
So in T2, I can make 600 crowns per level, that's 6000 crowns per day. (and that's generous.)
So T3 players make 3k more, tops.

CE sellers sell to the highest paying customer, so the CE rate is suited to T3 payout.
So the difference between the payouts represents the difficulty in buying CE in T2.
Everyone would play double levels
So if everyone made double crowns per day, due to increased rate, what would happen if everyone could make double money?
The difference in payout would also double.
Making it twice as hard for T2 players to buy CE than before.

T3 makes 9000 per day, doubles to 18000
T2 makes 6000 per day, doubles to 12000
So T3 players would make 6k more, as opposed to 3k more.
So the CE price would rise more than the T2 players paycheck would.

See how that's a bad thing? That's like going to the groccery store with twice as much as you ussualy do, but having everything cost four times as much. That's the equalivelant of having half as much money.

@Frosty I think I see where

@Frosty

I think I see where you're getting at. That people that would be asleep would probably be "wasting" 100 ME they could be using, right?

@Orangeo

Yea, you're right there. But with the current CE prices getting higher, I would almost bet that T2 players won't be able to buy 100 CE with just one T2 run in some time, unless the prices magically drop.

And you're assuming that players will do only FSC. Me and some other players I know do the whole T3 levels, as in, we start at Emberlight and go all the way down to The Core. From what I remember, we do more or less 7k-ish with a bit of luck (not completely sure it's that amount though. I'm also not sure about how much money we get after Vanaduke, my team usually gets hit with lag in that boss fight and end up always losing). In a T2, going from Moorcroft to Emberlight, we can easily get around 6 or 6.5k.

And don't forget that in FSC every mob (or nearly every mob) drops money and crowns (at least all the mobs I kill in FSC give them) while in a JK run lots of Slimes don't give anything.

"CE sellers sell to the highest paying customer, so the CE rate is suited to T3 payout."

That's why I suggested a group of people that could inform players about the Market tab in the window where you buy CE. If more people use that instead of the Trade tab, I think that the prices won't rise as much or as fast as they are rising at the moment. I might be wrong though, so it would be nice if someone clarified it for me if that's not the case xP

I didn't assume they all did

I didn't assume they all did only FSC, I just assumed the richer ones did, the "highest bidders". I'd say that's fair enough to assume, FSC has better crown payout. Also, only the mini slimes are dropless, to my knowlage. Kinda like the wheel launchers on FSC. I've been informed that it's around 500-600 cr on average per jelly level.

I'm not sure what you meant in the last paragraph. You mean buyers should list their own prices more often? If so, then yes. Most people don't do it becuase they're lazy, not ingnorant though. People just need to decide to ask for a lower price, they don't need to be taught how really.

Well, whenever I do JK runs

Well, whenever I do JK runs and even in non JK level, it happened to me and team mates to not have crowns/heat dropping after killing a Jelly Cube or a Lichen. I think it was from some nerf that was implemented with a past patch, because players farmed JK way too much so OOO decided to make some mobs drop nothing. Or somehow the game just lags up and makes the mobs not drop loot? oO
