Finally got a perfect lockdown game, aka the other team has no points and I didn't die once.
My team helped a bit :P But I was the star of the show.
Been wanting to get one of these for a while a recon cap right at the end lost me my last one in a 900 point map.
Edit: Forgot to add, the other team was 3/4 full 5* (same as mine) and had no afkers or leavers. Otherwise this would be meh.

Hey Juances, I am not saying to not support the game. But one thing is paying a bit and other is spending high quantities of money to roll a gambling machine. That is called addiction, among other things.

I have gotten over 32k damage in a 6v6 with all 5* geared knights who weren't afk.... Lol

Sigh thread. You guys understand this is an arcade game, any notion of skill in here is just stupid. So why u keep bragging? You'll have the right to bragg when u achieve something in a real skill-based game. Cya till then.
There's not really much reason to be boasting about Lockdown because, as it is now, several weapons outshine others on a ridiculous level, your connection and how bad you're lagging are everything, and the skill of your opponents is a factor as well. Autoaim, whether you or your foes are using it, matters too.
I've hit 20k+ damage myself, and quite a few times at that, but it isn't an achievement because in all of those cases I was much more experienced than the other players, the teams were stacked, the other team's gear was bad, their connection was worse, and I use an Argent, BTB, and Glacius, with nothing special in terms of UVs. I am, quite simply, the Average Joe. And even I hit 20k+. (No autoaim, and if you use it, shame on you.)
And lastly I'd like to mention luck. Luck plays a part in everything in Spiral Knights... what UVs you get, your luck with your connection, etc... but in Lockdown, there's that and your luck with guessing what your opponent is going to do. There has never been a time where I've been able to be 100% certain that someone is going to do something and where; no one can be certain.
In short, like in PvE, your skill doesn't matter so much as your connection and equipment. Skill does matter to some extent, but other factors are more important. So don't boast. Don't raise yourself up. Honestly, it's nigh atrocious seeing your boasting littered all across General Discussion.
EDIT: Would like to mention this; in all of your screenshots, you have a perfect four bars of connection, which explains a lot.
I agree with most of your post except one part:

That is not always luck. The ability of guessing correct how an opponent will react is at least part skill. Take any games (e.g. Starcraft, various fighting games, poker etc.) or many competitive sports (tennis, fencing etc.) and it is the same thing. At the highest level, the best players tend to be better at reading their opponents, engaging in mind games and so on.
Granted, this only applies in high level competitions where every contestant have reached a very high level of ability in all other areas (very high number of action per minutes, outstanding micro/macro management in Starcraft, being able to pull every moves flawlessly and understanding the priority of every moves in fighting games etc. etc.).
Personally, I'd love to see how the "established" players would manage against each other over several games. It might not be good those who looking to boost their ego, but it would be more my definition of a "good game".
Yeah, I admit that's pretty true. The thing is, though, is that you're never going to know whether your opponent (let's say a Striker) is going to try and fake you out and start circling you in the opposite way or keep circling the same direction. Some players know not to follow a recognizable pattern, so, in some situations, it's a game of chance; this is especially true in laggy conditions or in Striker vs. Striker clashes. There are times, however, where you can predict the other player, but ironically that's only against the more casual players (as far as I've seen) as opposed to, like you mentioned, highly competitive matches. For an example, when people play Guardian and face off against a Striker with their shield up, they know the Striker has to attack them first (or run past them), and given the nature of the game, reacting appropriately to any type of weapon is easy if you're careful. This may not be reading a player, but it's a sort of 'general' reading, a prediction that will apply to all players. I'd like to think that some Guardians can guess what type the enemy is most likely to use given some knowledge of what weapons the opponent has.
meh. had this kind of stuff happen to me in blast network. also, sometimes, my team would win like 10 to six, but the other team's six are all my team's suicides.

Most european players have 150-250 latency at all times
I notice very few differences when I'm at 800 latency due to video uploads.
I could explain how high latency helps you in LD, but I've done it enough in the last few days.
Basically hits are client sided, if you don't know why that helps higher latency, there is no point explaining.
Camping a weaker team outside their base while autoaiming a flourish apparently passes as "a good screenshot"

Teammates are all 3*-4*, opponents are 5*.
This match was a 500 pt 4v4, not a constant stream of players in a 6v6 getting camped outside their base with an autoaimed flourish.
Game was done as a recon until the last 30 seconds which was striker to reach a couple capture spots before the game ended.

I tend to screenshot games which clearly have a stronger team as opponents. Why? Because it means alot more that way.
I've played with horrible connection, I know for a fact that it in fact does not help you. You can't dodge things when you're two seconds behind the other player; sure, you can hit people after they 'hit' you, but what's the point in it? You're still hit yourself, and they can avoid you, you can't avoid them (without avoiding a confrontation to begin with). There have been plenty of times where I've spontaneously started having a horribad connection and then I shoot a Striker with my AP. I clearly hit them first but only after I get hit they flinch, that's something that's happened quite a few times.
...So, please, tell me why I'm wrong, or what is so different in your case.
Now, off the topic of latency or connection or whatever.
...I just took a look at your video and honestly I see even less reason for you to brag. Why? You're autoaiming with a Final Flourish. It's hard to land those second and third hits, and the difficulty of that is null when you autoaim, making it one of the most powerful weapons in Lockdown for two things-pure Piercing damage, and extreme reach that also almost never misses. It's supposed to be hard to use, and I don't care how many times I've said this before, autoaim removes any and all difficulty in using it, making it a left-click-to-win weapon even worse than a Gran Faust.
You are, beyond a shadow of a doubt, stupid for bragging about high damage and steamrolls when you autoaim.
