Auto Walk?

Okay, someone tell me this has not always been a feature I never discovered, man I will feel like such a (you know what) I am not even sure how I triggered it but I was auto walking and I have to say that was a nice feature. I can't get it to do it again though, maybe my mouse button stuck or something? If this has always been something you could do please someone (yes you can call me a you know what first ) but then tell me how it is done. I could not find anything in the wiki about it.
Really though, this would be a nice feature.

i've never heard of, or seen an option for autowalk.
how do you enable this magical thing

It's like the mouse remains clicked so you keep moving

Well I was hoping there was and I didn't know about it, because it was way cool. My mouse button must have gotten stuck. But I could kill stuff you know and it would stop me from walking but after they were dead it picked right back up again. Iwish I could figure out how the heck it happened. hmmmmm (thinks about getting some duct tape) lol

It does happen to me too, but I'm too distracted to actually notice what i did.
You could try some simple script or something that loops a clik after a key press.

Having an autowalk option in games like this would be awesome. Usually I play games where you can click somewhere and you'd walk over to that spot, so constantly having to hold onto a button or a key is really annoying.

You... don't play with a gamepad?
auto-run = no issue when you just use the control stick!

:o Do most people play with a gamepad? I don't play nearly enough games to warrant one, I'd say, but with the way I've been abusing my mouse and keys lately...maybe I should invest in one.

Well there is this trick you can do to avoid holding down your left-mouse or thing to auto-walk.
1. Assign the walk-to button to other button faraway and less likely touched, like + or p, etc.
2. Use a pin or clip to nail/hold the button down. Use your creativity or DUCKTAPE !!!! (seriously I dont know why it's called "duck"tape, anything related to duck? Reference to "The Duck Song"?)
3. Profit auto-walk!
And no there's no auto-pathfinding in this game.
However joystick is more awesome by all means.

I think it was originally called 'DUCT-Tape'
As in CONDUCT, for it's versatile use in insulating electronics.
Watch the Mythbusters Ducttape episodes. You'd be surprised what you can do with it.

There's debate about if the tape was first called 'duck tape' or 'duct tape'. The theory with 'duct' is that, well, the tape was used to seal cracks in ducts. 'Ducks' apparently comes from the fact that the tape repels water, much like how duck feathers do (though duck feathers = covered in oily duck-body secretions, which comes from a gland under their wing [like...duck armpits]. This is why they preen their feather so much--they're spreading this oil around, and making sure their feathers lie flat so they form a shield against the water).
This is from what I remember reading years ago, so I could be wrong. Imma too lazy to google stuff right now. XD
Edit: Calling it conduct tape when it's supposed to insulate is kinda backwards, isn't it? I never watched that episode in question, so I'm wondering how they named these things...

I 4get. ><
But really, watch the episode. There's two I think. So funny all the stuff they do with it.
They try to build a freaking CANNON from duct tape.

Now you're making all nostalgic about Mythbusters and that dude's mustache (it's been years, I've totally forgotten their names ><). I'm forcing myself to stay away from YouTube right now, 'cause otherwise, I'd spend my entire day there.

thank you Psycho, Mythbusters is awesome! Worth seeing. Also try the Duck song for teh lulz.
Calling it conduct tape when it's supposed to insulate is kinda backwards, isn't it? I never watched that episode in question, so I'm wondering how they named these things... <--- agree to this. Weird. If it's conductive and my dad is using it everywhere to bind electric cables. Scary.
Also check thereifixedit.failblog.org for moar wonderful application of ducktape.
PS: I want to ducktape a snipe to my shield.

i use the wasd keys and then click the move key on mouse. pretty sure that's how i did it.

Watched Mythbusters on TV like 10 mis ago.
Moustache guy: Jamie (AKA: The Hineman)
Guy who laughs at moustache guy: Adam (the crazy dude who always gets hurt)
Other:
Grant (good for robots.)
Tori (Crazy guy. Nuff said)
Kary (OMG KEEP THAT SLEDGHAMMER AWAY!)
I think I got the duct bit wrong. I dunno. Me forgetsies.
Actually there is a guy at the left side of one of the Havens (can't remember which one) that is auto-walking for the past 3-4 days. When I saw him first I though its just lag or visual bug, but one the next day he was a bit more right. I may do a Fraps record of him or at least check his name if he is still there.

Double click lock (well for trackpads) then just move. Or drag lock whatever it's called.

I think there's a /follow (player) command. I'm not sure if it actually makes you follow that player or just says "Follow (Player)!"
