It's a small thing, but it would be really nice to have the auto-target checkbox be a hotkey assignment.

I usually have it turned off so that I can aim my sword swipes and gunshots in the space between two monsters, but recently I've started to use my piercing sword a lot more often, and I find that I often miss the lunges. It's a lot easier to use that sword with the auto-target on, but constantly holding down a key for that is quite annoying. I realize that I can open up options and change it, but I hate having auto-target when I use guns and other swords, and it's hard to do that in the middle of a fight.

I don't know if anyone else actually have this problem, but for me, it would make things a lot better in fiend strata.

He/she wants a /press=Toggle on --> /Press=Toggle off option

Currently, it's a 'leave it on/off' option, then hold shift to change to whichever. So if you start off without Auto-lock, then it will come on when you press shift, but only as long as you hold shift.

oh yeah, i would much preffer a press to toggle instead of a hold to toggle button. I mean i have remaped all my keys anyway so its not that out of the way, but still, i only have so many fingers.

Being able to use it only on certian weapons would be good too. I walk around and hold down shift while I'm using my gun so I can hit stuff.

Like Frosty said, I also remap my keys so I can hold down 'x' as auto-target, but it'd still be a lot easier if I can just press 'x' once and forget about it.

Orangeo, I'm intrigued by your idea. How do you think it would work? I'd imagine maybe you can go into inventory and set it up? It seems like it would be complicated to do, hmm...

I'm not sure if we're supposed to be bumping topics here, but I was just talking to a couple of guildies who said they'd want this feature.

I wonder if something like this would be useful in LD? I know that those with pierce swords like to use it, but I've played all of one game, so. xD

I'd love a per-weapon auto

I'd love a per-weapon auto targeting feature to be added. Some swords I have would benefit, though my guns wouldn't probably.

I never like to use AT, it hinders my aim most of the time. I find it pretty useless tbh.
