"Arsenal Stations
Many levels within the Clockworks now feature 'Arsenal Stations' that allow you to change your gear or loadouts before facing the challenges of a level. So long as you have a wide variety of equipment, a difficult stratum with varying themes will be no match for your arsenal!

There are also one-way barriers positioned after each Arsenal Station. Choose your equipment wisely and use loadouts to save time!

Energy Blasts
Energy reviving now comes coupled with an energy blast that knocks back and damages monsters. There are four levels of power that are unlocked as more energy is used for the revive.

30 Day Elevator Pass
We're trying something new! For a limited time only, a 30 Day Elevator Pass may be purchased from the Energy Depot. This pass allows all Knights on the account the ability to bypass elevator costs. Elevator Passes are activated at the time of purchase and will show up in your arsenal's 'Useable' category as with other upgrades.

Shadow Keys
Shadow Keys are now available from Boost for the foreseeable future. They can be purchased for the now non-promotional price of 1,800 CE.

Surveys
Surveys will now occasionally be available from the Uplink. Fill them out and help us improve Spiral Knights!

Graphics
Systems with more memory should now see increased performance.

Levels
- Fixed an issue in a Lichenous Lair room where turrets were surrounded by bramble.
- Fixed an issue where you could get stuck in a Candlestick Keep room.

Accessories
- Drab Sideblade will now equip the right color on use. Existing equipped Drab Sideblades are unaffected.
- Heavy Game Face accessory now shows the proper name on its tool tip when equipped.
- Snarbolax armor will now accept Aura accessories.

Misc.
- Control/shift-clicking to transfer stackable items in batches of ten now works for auction house posting, mail attachments, and trading."

this is the most player friendly patch ive seen in a while, because i recognize a bunch of things, which have been mentioned by players before and now theyre finally being taken care of!

arsenal stations can fix the problem of not knowing the monsters despite knowing the stratum theme(which kinda lowers the purpose of stratum themes, but theyve never really been a help to me)

energy blasts make energy reviving exciting..altho i tend to save energy revives, this sounds fun to me, especially if im using mist energy..keep in mind its still voluntary, even if tempting

/ty

30 day elevator pass..im not so sure about this 1, but it sounds like a sweet idea

shadow keys..i have nothing positive to say about lockboxes and shadow lairs, but im sure some people will be happy, because keys dont require gambling now

surveys!! the closest thing to a poll, which ive been suggesting for a long time and its even ingame!

/tyty

graphics, seen it in suggestions

lvls/accessories bugfix

Misc.
"Control/shift-clicking to transfer stackable items in batches of ten now works for auction house posting, mail attachments, and trading"

seen it in suggestions and its a nice suggestion /ty

I'd like to thank them....

I'd like to thank them for the Proto crest, it's so cool! :D

and that's what i love about this game even though it may seem like they make greedy decisions they always try to make it up ^_^

I love everything except the elevator pass and that's mostly a "hmm, let's see how this goes" rather than outright hatred. The shift + click thing is a very nice bonus (I, and a few others, commented on wanting the function extended a couple of days ago in a general discussions thread, so I didn't think it'd be so fast), and I've been looking forward to the arsenal station since the testing servers. The energy blast is a nice little feature too, but everyone's still going to avoid energy revs as much as possible, so its impact is pretty limited.

Now if they could let us sort the chat (tabs like 'general', 'guild', 'whispers', etc.)! :p

The Shadow Keys

I'm a little pissed about that part, but I guess it's a good update. See, I bought a shadow key from Boost during the promotional event, thinking that shadow key costs would skyrocket later when it went away, but now I'm screwed.
/ty OOO for everything else!!!

Noobberries: if you wait a bit more, you can probably sell it for 1700CE. If you sold it now, you can definitely make back the 1.5k you spent on it. I know it's disheartening to see what you thought was a very good return on money spent go down the drain, but it's not like you're going to end up losing money either.

- Snarbolax armor will now accept Aura accessories.

I'd be a bit more thankful if this wasn't broken...considering I dumped a good amount of cr on an aura in preparation for this.

Anyway.. thanks for the Arsenal Station, the Shadow Keys from Boost and shift-clicking to move items in batches of 10 xD

Thank you for this patch. The gear swapping portion makes intentionally handicapping specific parts of the clockworks far easier to do.

Before: Invite friend/alt into party, Leave to haven, Switch Gear, Reenter into party of friend/alt, make sure I didn't forget any supplies I dropped.

After: Do levels in gear I want without party dancing.

As for the elevator pass, I was thinking of how OOO could implement a small subscriber fee to the game...this is perfect for a new player. For most people, this is the right way to do the starter kit.

(Seperate Suggestion: New players should be able to get their 1st 3 days with free elevators.)

Yes, thank you OOO, for a patch that basically doesn't do [crap].

All I've noticed is that the server is currently down for me, I can't log in, tehe. Yeah, thanks a lot!

Dude

CHILL. I've had to not be able on log in for a few days because of an update, and a few other steam users had to put up with the same thing.

Doesn't do much. Yeah, they're just tweaking pretty much.

As for not logging in, can't you just wait? Seriously, it's a big task, programming and all that. Well at least, I imagine it is. They don't just replace a 'f' in a text document with a 't'. Ask them to employ you and see if you can do it and not make a mistake somewhere.

Sheesh. Make your own game and try and maintain it. See how many people tell you how much it...use your imagination.

Do you even support the game

Do you even support the game with real money? You would expect the game to be availible whenever you wanted it to be, if you spent 1000+ $ on a game. So please, shut up.

Elevator pass

I dunno about everyone else but when i donate for CE i always use my phone, it makes it so much easier and since theres no 'special phone offer' i really cant get one since i dont have a credit card. (well i can im just too lazy to have someone do it for me =^_^=)

Anyhow what i'm saying is that id like to try it out and see if its good or not, would be cool if there was a phone offer thingie. Oh btw im living in Sweden, wether that makes a diffrence or not i have no idea :P

Everything else is gr8 though, keep up the good work =D

See, the thing is, I've seen quite a few shadow key sell on the AH for less than 1500CE, even ones with BINs that would give the seller less than 1500CE after fees. There were also quite a few posts in the bazaar with people trying to sell the keys for 1500CE.

So, the market price for shadow keys didn't appear to be that much above 1500CE, and OOO comes out with them for 1800CE? *shrug*

..

apart from the arsenal stations on every level its a decent update.
liked having to decide a set of armour/shield and weapon set for a set number of levels.

taking a weapon specifically for a boss that i wouldnt usually use for the levels preceding. now i can just mix and match every level making it easier then it was. all part of the fun and added a lil challenge to some gates. having one level you needed shadow def for and the rest you didnt, so you ignored shadow def to choose a better set to suit the majority of levels.

just seems alot of the things that were fun are getting weakened. JK, phantoms even the old dreaded quicksilver danger rooms where 1 silver would charge and pinball around charging the rest, potentially taking out most the party in a few. seconds if the werent careful are gone, or i havent seen one in a long time.

apart for the little bit of lag, or a PUG in a gun puppy danger room its all pretty much straight forward.

but yeah, good patch except for arsenal stations, but others seem to like the idea.

Thank you.

Thank you Three Rings. I really love this update. Granted, I'm a pay to play player. But, I love the pass idea. I expected it to be around $15 usd, but when I saw it was $6 usd, I bought it immediately.

-edit-

Although, I think the arsenal stations take away some of the fun. But, you don't have to use them, so it's all good. (:

@Algol-Sixty The market in

@Algol-Sixty

The market in Shadow Keys is not particularly liquid, most people who wanted them having bought them during the promo, what 3 rings has done is put a cap on the maximum price for keys. I expect over time the price will rise (as resources dry up), as long as i can sell mine for a price I can replace them for, I will probably sell a couple, if not they are there for use one day.

Ok I might be upset I spent real money with 3 rings, when i could have waited and done it F2P but meh! I got the promo offer, so my keys were even cheaper dollarwise, and it supports the game I enjoy playing. Not many games I have played have got 100's of hours playtime on.

Arsenal Stations

Personally I don't like them, one of the skills was to dress right for a range of levels in a strata, carrying weapons that would be useful for the boss but limited use earlier on. On the plus side it does mean, that unlocking all 4 weapon slots is largely unnecessary. So that's all saving us some CE every month.

^_- I'd expect the game to be available whenever even if I DIDN'T pay for it. I spent a few hours installing this, making sure I knew what I was doing, then it doesn't work. Try again some time later, whaddya kno, it worked.

Seriously. The world doesn't revolve around you and how much you pay for the game. Do you really think OOO should set up and office just to prioritize like that?

'Uh oh, we have a problem.
'Fix it for the people who pay $1000+ on this game, because they are so much more important than everyone else.'

They have a problem, OBVIOUSLY it's not intentional. So sit down, shut up, and just patiently wait for them to fix it and stop throwing a tantrum like three year old who didn't get his favourite bottle.

Just say, 'oops, your latest update is giving me a problem logging in OOO' Instead of 'OOO YOU @&^%@!! Y U DO AN UPDATE THAT DOESN'T DO &^%$ AND STOPS ME FROM LOGGING IN YOU #&*@%^!!' (yeah yeah, I know you didn't actually say that, it's called a hyperbole)

Seriously dude. Mistakes are almost bound to happen when changes are being made. Just because a dude spend $999,999,999,999 on a rocket ship doesn't mean it'd be SURE to work properly. I could list the different reasons why, but I won't.

Oh and also? I didn't pay for this game, but I'll bet most of the Steam users that were locked out as I was last time had paid. They just did the normal thing and told both companies there was a problem, then egged them on to fix it each day. They didn't pout like you did. Least none that I saw.
