Well...

i use an iceburst brandish. If everyone attacks while you use this, there is a good chance you can damage the twin to the next stage.

get elemental

elemental defense armors and helm (cloaks and hoods) are nice to beef you up against retrode beams and mechaknight charged attacks
all the lasers and rockets flying around are also elemental and its rare for one to NEVER get hit. they all deal quite a lot of damage so prep with elem is key.
shock protection is also a plus
owlite series shields works here best already having elemental def and shock resistance.. plus you will be shielding a lot...

since most of the enemies here are also construct family, elemental weapons will kill them off faster.
this also saves you time once you reach the twins, allowing better dps at the constant time when the pups are down

Try and get as much shock

Try and get as much shock resist and elemental as possible. If you only have 2 slots, make one a gun and the other a sword. I'd suggest bringing 2 swords and a gun if possible.

DAs are great damage, and good crowd control for the end bosses and those scuttlebots.

Personally, I bring gran faust for the jellies and gremlins, fang of vog for the robots and the twins (the fire status for normal swings is so nice), and a shivermist to keep the chaos down to a minimum. Armor is a grey owlite shield, divine helm, vog armor.

Use Cloaks and Hoods for

Use Cloaks and Hoods for armor. Elemental defense severely knocks down the damage you get from constructs and Shock defense nullifies the most common status effect on the stratum.

Owlite Shields easily absorb most mortar fire. Their defense against Fire helps out with brushing off mortar status effects.

Elemental Brandishes are the perfect swords for this tier. For firearms bring Alchemers and Drivers; other elemental guns are also good. For bombs, either a Fire Vaporizer or a standard Blast Bomb. Both will help you with those pesky gremlins you'll run into from time to time.

The Gear i use to Solo with Rookies

I use Vog Cap and Vog Coat and also the Shild called Grey Owlite!

I weaponise to use Voltedge, Giga watt Pulsar, Ash of Agni or Shock Bomb of some kind!

Mechs have a Low and Construct have a Low Shock Defence and low Elemental Defence!
Fire Bomb is good for if their are Mechs Under your Feet and you want to Take Quick Notice of the Enemys!
Shock only slows them!

Seems like ppl try to really over-do the Twins...

It used to be that I didn't use any elemental stuff, I didn't have any elemental defence, I was 3* Spiral Order (Kozma's stuff) and soloed the Twins.

What you need to beat them is not the right weapons (although they do help), what you need is the right timing on the switches, and generally avoid hitting rockets and getting shocked by the scuttlebots.

Just keep practising getting all eight rockets through a gate (or the first six) and dodging getting hurt, and soon you'll be taking them down before they know you're there. :D

meh, I killed them with jelly stuff and a fireburst, i was still using a proto gun that time.(yes i wanted to save money by only upgrading one weap :p)
It's just a mather of patience, different from other bosses where raw power is convenient.
