I think there is one main flaw in the idea of "No one is buying CE because it is expensive"
Basic economics say that if no one is buying a product, the price of the product goes down. The price is high and staying high because people keep buying CE at the price, and are willing to pay more and more for the valuable resource. If no one is buying it, people become more desperate to sell their CE, and they offer it at lower prices.
7k is not bad at all. I've played games before with a similar model where, if we were to translate ratios, it'd be about the same as paying approximately 30k-40k for 100CE. As a F2P player, I think people need to quit whining. Not only is 7k easy to get for the amount of CE, the act of getting that money is not only fun, but is the entire point of the game. In a sense, this is whining about having to play the game.
Also before anyone asks, I don't think CE should become cheap enough that you should be able to buy it after just one run. If CE is that cheap, then it defeats one reason to buy it with cash, AND it defeats the entire point of the elevator pass itself. Not saying it should become horribly expensive, but still...
