Haha I bought some mats for 355k cr (total worth around 380k) and added my own and total value more than doubled.
Now I'm selling the whole pack with a bigger discount than I received when purchasing highly-valued mats (like 600 green shards).

Updated first post. Changed from auction to WTS mode. Price is fixed at 30% off. If you simply re-sell the mats at their market value on AH, you'll get around 3k ce pure profit (20% of 15k ce, after AH tax). If you use my average mat price calculations (based on last 4 days), you'll be able to tell what to sell now and what to hold off until later date.
My average price mat calculations are sold for 1k ce. Special offer - only for buyer of mats.

Too bad I dont have 10k ce and also found out its extremely hard to sell things like blaze pepper :S. In your avrg mat price calculations you should add (imo) some statistics to incoperate the fact that 2-3* mats have a huge listing price and might not be sold.

Then again, as a mat seller, I'm well aware what this package is ultimately worth... even optimistically, it's not 10k CE.

Thanks for advice, I'll include some discounts for large quantities of 3-4 star materials and see what number I get.
As for specific mats not selling: you just didn't get the price right. I never had a problem selling stuff.
Question to everyone:
Would you be interested in mat package deals? Like, mats required to craft a specific object, packed together with some extra mat as a bonus.
For example: to craft a calibur-tempered calibur you need 15 light shards, 5 bronze bolts, 4 swordstones, 1 force dynamo. 10 of those would be 150 light shards, 50 bronze bolts, 40 swordstones. And when you buy it, you get some extra material, free of charge.

Sold some mats on AH to make the package cheaper.
Changed calculation price for some materials (blaze pepper, blighted bone, reaper rib), they're offered at VENDOR price (if you don't need them - sell to vendor to get your money back). Don't want some mats - let me know beforehand. As long as total price is over 6k ce, I'm ready to remove any undesired materials from the package.

So far the only mat I had trouble selling was corrosive acid and only because a bunch of cheaper offers appeared soon after mine. All other mats (including a package of 1000 scraps) sold perfectly fine at market price.

I have a high-res monitor so I open spiral knights and Excel side by side and just write down mats, their prices ect. Takes time but gives a lot of info :)
Update: sold most 5-star mats; sold all: chroma tears, brimstones, waste modules, critter carapaces, ghost bells, static clingers*, unstable cores.
* - still on AH at 50% off! Grab it FAST!
Updated the list. Amount didn't change much so overall price was not affected. Last 10 flame souls are on AH.
