Hello, I have enough money at the moment for either upgrading my Silent Nightblade into an Archeron or getting 3* Armor/helmet/shield... I am curious as to what you guys think is the better idea for first. I will be getting both eventually, but I am unsure as to which first, I will probably end up doing many JK runs (or at least the depths prior to JK) for money to pay for the other one.

If it makes any changes, I already have a 3* bomb and a 3* gun and addition 3* swords, Freezing MK II Vaporizer and Magnus respectively. As for swords I have a SS and a Twisted Snarble Barb

I really think noobs are idiots who do do this.. luckily you aren't.
5* Swords, or any other weapon do close to or LESS then 4* swords. Definitely, always, get 3* stuff first.
From 0* go to 2*. 2* go to 3*. 4* go to 5*. Never upgrade something to 3*, before you get full 2*.
Never upgrade to 5* before you get a full 4* set. Same thing for all swords.
Don't upgrade any of your weapons before your shield/armor/helm are the same level as they are. Then look.

If you're in T2 there's no point in upgrading past 4* anything (maybe with the exception of a BTS, but just for the extra sword buff it gives). The damage difference is maybe on the order of 10% or so up until S6 comparing 4* to 5* weapons.

If you've got 800e burning a hole in your pocket, your best bet is to upgrade to 3/4* armour (if you already have a 3* shield), or 3* armour and a pair of 3* shields (eg Horned Owlite and Twisted Targe).

Alright, thank you... I have the shield from Snarbolax at the tier you get it at... I think 2*, I have around 950e to spend... so I will go ahead and get some 3/4* armor/shield/helmet etc , thank you :)
