Some guy told me that he kept reviving on a level becuase he didn't notice that the button wasn't a health bar. I'm wondering if OOO did this to try to get people to revive more. I'm not saying they did, just saying it's worth pondering. They could have moved it to prevent people from pressing the wrong one, but still. Either way, OOO should be a little more open about why they do what they do. Any speculation or comments?
Why did OOO move the return to haven button?
That was one of my complaints after the 2nd test server. I guess nobody took it seriously, or I was the only who said anything about it.
Yeah, this is bad GUI design. You shouldn't have related buttons pop up in different spots on the screen. As far as not being enough room, I don't see that. Yeah, the pup up dialog would be wider, but even on low resolution settings, it looks to have more than enough room.
It keeps the noobs from easily quitting from a level (maybe). It gives me enough time to revive them before they find the "Return" button.
It is probably to keep people from accidentally hitting "Return to Haven" instead of revive.

It does make a certain amount of sense to have the "return to haven" button at the top left, since that's where you'd usually look if you wanted to bail out of a dungeon (either going through the options menu, or clicking your name). It's just a jarring change for people who are used to seeing it on the revive window.
The new UI for the blast revive with that 'energy hearth' icon took too much space so it had to be moved.
