To answer your question, I'm heating some sealed swords and an avenger and I quite frankly never see the point in using them. The ranged attack is a nice plus in some circumstances but the overall damage, depressing speed and the kludgy attack animations leave me wondering why everyone seems to rave about this sword line.
I should add that I almost exclusively use Leviathan Blade and Barbarous Thorn Blade.
I've always used a GF and DA. (No, I do not use four weapon slots)
They make a great combo in my opinion. And I don't have a problem with slow weapons, I used the striker series once, and they were just impossible to control, so yeah, always went with slow swords. They also make a good knockback on enemies when you're surrounded by crowds :L
I'm using a laptop, so guns ain't an option to me, and I'm not that good with bombs either.
The PvP will be forcing me to craft myself a BTB soon enough, but other than that, it's DA and GF all the way baby.
I think that the best swords are barbarous thorn blade,leviathan blade,gran faust,divine avenger,glacius and cold iron vanquisher.
and best guns should be argent peace maker and polaris.
I wonder if people use sealed swords
