Well, when I open it on the browser, the screen pops up and is completely black. Wait a bit and for a split second, I hear the music play and then it closes and leaves. I repeat and same thing happens. So I downloaded it onto the computer and started it from there. I wait, screen pops up and the music plays and I make it to the log in screen, more or less. The reason I say that is because a lot of the text is completely garbled and blanked out or something.

I checked the Java site and it ran a test verifying I have the recommended java installed
and I believe that I have the latest drivers.

Unutile, I'm sorry to say

Unutile, I'm sorry to say this but your video chipset may not be able to support the game.

People in this thread were having similar problems, with similar Intel chipsets: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/2410

Try updating your drivers: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/chpsts/965m
Especially your OpenGL drivers: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-010479.htm

Please also peek at the FAQ, in case you see some other problems that might be related: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Technical_issues_FAQ

Good luck.

A 965 Chipset will work with

A 965 Chipset will work with the very latest drivers direct from Intel's support site and up to date Java on a Vista 64 laptop. I've got a laptop using that chipset. Other than being very slow (with compatibility enabled), it works.

Something happened...

Well thanks for you help. I did go to the suggested links to update my drivers, and I tried navigating around, but after a while I found myself on the OpenGL menu Providence told me to update, and I noticed the options in the menu weren't set to default. I set them to default and tried the game and then it worked. I could read the text and get into the game. So thanks for you help, both of you. I hope it goes smoothly from here on out.
