I have an easy suggestion to make the CE market less volitile and more fair, give us the option to see the full market depth. For those who don't know, that's the ability to see all the outstanding orders. A free market works most effiecently when the actors are well informed [so the theory goes]. When ill informed, all sorts of manipulations and inefficiencies arise.

Currently, only being able to see the 5 best market orders makes it trivial to manipulate the market. Combine that with the people who seem to have 50k-100k energy and you can guess what happens. Hell you can make the market appear to move with as little as 2k-5k CE.

Not all of these fluctuations are because of elevator passes and keys, and it's not because people aren't buying energy. I've watched the market long and hard, and have seen when a P2P CE buyer just dumps CE for CR and he busts through the artificial floor someone set up to keep prices high and instantly the buy side drops 50-100 crowns. With the ability to see the full market depth, people would be able to see these huge gaps. They would see through these manipulations and see just how much hot air people have pumped into the market, instead of pushing the market up further.

And yes, I realized such a change would screw with some people's revenue streams, my own included, but at the same time, it's the right thing to do.
