I was wondering if you were using a recipe to create a for example,
tempered caliber. As one of the requirements you need a caliber, if you have that caliber bound to you are you able to use it for the recipe or do you have to get another?

Also,(Sorry for assuming.),
Also,(Sorry for assuming.), but you have to un-equip(not unbound) the piece of gear you're planing on using to craft with. For example: if you have your calibur equipped to your character, then you won't be able to use it to make a tempered calibur. So be sure to un-equipped your stuff first, then craft it.
Just figure I let you know ahead of time.(If you didn't know already.)

Level of source arsenal
I'm wondering if the level of the source arsenal is effecting crafting result.
So, if I have calibur and want to upgrade to tempered calibur. Does it any difference when I'm using a level 1 calibur and lv 10 calibur?

For Tempered, it doesn't matter. However, when you're making the Ascended Calibur, the requirements will say "Tempered Calibur (level 5)" or something to that effect, which means that your 3* gear must be level 5 or higher before you can further craft it. 5* equipment require level 10 4* equipment.
Basically, to make 0*, 1*, 2*, or 3* gear, you can use any level prerequisites (if applicable).
4* equipment require level 5 3* gear.
5* equipment require level 10 4* gear.

Oh and note, i have seen other different colors than the one you posted, Kreuz-Drache. I think i have seen like and orange or yellow looking alchemy machine. Sometimes they might be alchemy machines.
