I want to know what people think of the plate mail set? I've recently started to make it, I've got it 3* and don't know what to do from here. I plan on making it Ironmight plate 5*, mostly for costuming, but I'm curious about how it plays when it gets to 5*. I think the Volcanic probably has better stats for me, but since it's mostly a costume idea right now, I'll most likely stick with ironmight mail.

I have searched for threads, and mostly find ones that say the plate shield is good, and ancient plate is not worth having. But not a lot on the Ironmight armor/helm sets. They slow your attack down. This is probably bad, but if I take 2 ASI sword trinkets, I think it won't matter so much.

I'm curious what people think who actually own and have used this armor. Do you still use it? Why/why not?

Before you answer, let me throw some disclaimers out there:

I have full vog, skolver, nameless, and mad bomber. I have many 5* weapons across the board including DA, GF, Levi, Nitronome, Blitz, Polaris, etc, and tons of 4* everything else, and also have 5* shields. So Having the 'right' gear for a situation for me is fairly much covered. I'm looking to branch out into different things for different playstyles. I see very few ironmights though. Do they just suck? Their stats are decent enough for most of t2 I believe, and depending on how they work, could possibly replace my skolver, just because of higher resists over damage output.

So, from those who have used Plate armors, what can you tell me? Worth it to actually use? Or is this just something I'll keep around for looks? (Also, why such tiny legs compared to the cobalt line?)
