I was under the impression that monsters could not break blocks/destructible objects? I am I wrong/crazy?
I was playing a T3 map the other night and a polyp's thorn projectile broke the block I was using as cover. Is this a new thing since the last patch? or is it something about polyps I somehow did not notice before? Has anybody else seen monsters break destructible clockworks objects?
Yeah,I think those are the only monsters that can do that, the slimes. Other than that, just be careful of monster reaches between you and a "Barrier"
Gremlins hit through gates, Lumbers stun through everything really.
So yeah..
Additionally, any shocked monster can break (at least) ghost blocks, as well as trojans with their "farts" (like at the beginning of the last room in D27 FSC).
Rocket puppy rockets can destroy blocks. Trolljan farts are just shock AoEs, and shock can break any block. I think polyp thorns were recoded to break blocks in the halloween update when they overhauled the RJ fight.

They kill all your enemies for you. I saw one in T2, it charged, and killed the other three quicksilvers. No joke.
Just do a shock area, shield and walk, and the quicksilvers kill everything.
With their spike attacks.
