Here's a suggestion I thought of. When in game, when your knight's health is low, their stance animation is different, as if they are completely worn out.

What's your opinion? You may agree or disagree.

The animation could have the Knight have a weaker grip on their weapon, with their arm KINDA slouchin' downwards.

+1 on my part!

Yes, I think that this would also help give other party members an indication that another member's health is low so they can back them up instead of looking at the health meters on the top left and seeing who's good to go and who needs help.

Awesome idea. :D

Pretty much

Like Zero off the Megaman zero series!

I can't get a pic, but pretty much, he hold his arm with his other arm and his breathing is more exaggerated.

For referencing Zero, you have just won the internet cookies. All of them.

What's being referred to is a fairly classic "wounded" standby animation. In relation to Zero, it's here:

Look down 6 rows and to the right 3 sprite "groups".

More on topic, I think this would be quite cool! Unfortunately, the "Zero-esque" wounded standby would cause clipping with the kinight's shield (which can be remedied if the shield is returned to the wearer's back when standing still). Personally, I think this animation would be sick, but unfortunately it strikes me as unlikely. The more reasonable notion would be the "sleep with head up" pose. Regardless, any form of a "Ouch I hurt I need a Love Puppy's infinite caring" stance would be fun :D

Actually...

The 'Zero' Position could work.

The shield is attached to the wrist, right? So the knight uses his left arm, shield and all, to support his right arm which has gone limp, and letting go for each attack.

Well, I think it could work anyway, but that's Capcom's stuff.

I think maybe to one knee, sticking the sword in the ground to support him/herself. Classic wounded-knight position. When walking, he/she would drag his sword arm along the ground behind him/herself.

Actually I just thought, they're running, so there can't really be a wounded walking animation. Just the standing still will do.

In Zero, he has the wounded animation while standing still, but every other move operates as per normal, including walking. I think that has to be applied here.

Also: Cookies? I wanted the internetz.
I finished Zero 4. Didn't like how he died. :/ Weil seemed a but loose, calling him a maverick. Zero wasn't maverick, and killing a human doesn't make a maverick. That's crazy. Then he comes back as a cellphone sized thingy. I am disappoint.
