Seriously. Me and my bro are F2P too, and what do we do? play to get our cr! and what do we do with our cr? we buy our ce! marvelous! a wonderful idea! and guess what! we dont play everyday like some of u whiners do out there-and when we play, we play a MAX of 1 hour. We also share the same computer so we share ME. Do we complain? NO! So stop complaining and get ur butt of the ground and go into the clockworks to get some cr. I do JK runs on the weekend, get a minimum of 6k. The price will eventually go down; whining about it will NOT make it go down. So shut ur mouths and stop complaining! and guess what? if u think u dont get profit when u use ce to go on runs, then DON'T! use ME! its free! thats why its there for u! and i dont wanna listen to those of u saying, "im too impatient to let it grow", or "its not enough." because I DON'T CARE! SO DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND STOP LITTERING THE FORUMS WITH UR STUPID COMPLAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry about those of u who DON'T complain... i just had to send a message to those of you who DO.

You must be good at this then bro

I'm still having trouble :/

6K in just 1hour? Man, it takes me at least 2 hours to do T2 from top to bottom alone. But then again, I clear out everything I see XD

Got mai Sealed sword now though, And I can solo a full JK run without dying :D

SO happy ^^

Now I need to stockpile my cr again. I used to have 60K, but when I start spending, it ALL goes :/

Then you aren't a bushwacker?

Figures. I am a dying breed...

And I hate arenas, especially because I have to past a fiends one on the way down now, and that hurts. :/

At least I have decent gear now. My full 3* set gets me places :D

You know what will make it go down? Not buying any. If you want to "deal with it," stop buying CE. With less demand, prices must drop. The sooner F2P realizes this, the sooner the market will become balanced (no, the current upward trend is not balanced; it's an upward trend). Most threads are created to promote this idea, although they come across as whining to most.

Run the clockworks on ME only. When you're out of mist, play LD or stop for the day. Hold off on your crafting, you don't need to do it right now anyways. This has been a public service announcement.

yes, that is what i was

yes, that is what i was saying, rare. dont waste ur CE on runs; save it for crafting or if ur really desperate and there is one mroe lvl to Vanaduke or something. otherwise, u wont make profit.

CE price is rising, its hard

CE price is rising, its hard to keep profit for current players. Becouse of that they barely afford to craft/buy their own simple stuff or do clockworks run., Also rising CE prices is scaring new players away. Becouse of that medium progress players have cutted profits.

Becouse of rising CE prices people are getting greedy, they dont buy at all or if they want to buy something they would want it below making costs/buying costs or even for free.

Rich players have everything they want, they dont really care about anything, they just run around forum telling to, how they call them, "CE ranters" to just stfu and go away, since higher CE prices means lees people will get rich and those rich players will stay with 'elite' status longer. It reminds me a little a 'story' about One that made it to the island called 'wealth' and now is making waves so others cant get in there.

If all you can say "stop whinning", "deal with it" , "omg another CE complain thread", " ignore them they will go away" you are extremly narrowminded and you dont see long term results of what people with unknown motives and OOO made with CE market.

If people don't like how the CE prices are right now, i don't mind. The point of this thread is to tell the whiners out there that so of us people don't care about it, and we don't want to hear you whine about it. I'm pretty sure that whenever I log onto my account to go on the forums, I always see at least 1 CE complaint. Well, some of us actually don't care. If it's too high, thats ur problem. I think its pretty high right now and i think it should go down, but do i complain on the forums and waste everyones time? NO! And it seems like your the extremely narrowminded one here, as you cannot see the results of completely annoying and pointless threads; they are getting NOWHERE! so there is no point in making those stupid CE complaint threads. And if there is no point, then just STOP! just deal with it!

I hardly think that with the CE prices rising, you can't make profit. thats why you dont use CE. use ME. its free. if u use ME on runs, u make profit. DUH. And if you can barely afford to craft or buy there own stuff, well, thats not my problem. When i started to play SK, i still remember the price was about 7.5k for about half a month. I still managed to pull through. If ur having a hard time, then manage ur cr. I always have at least 10k cr on hand in case. I dont buy so much CE that i go broke either. And most importantly, i manage my stuff. when i need to craft something, i buy ce. but not all the time. i reserve ce for crafting usually. so that means when i do not need to craft, i can use my cr to buy other stuff. its not like you always have to have some ce. buy some, sell some, use some. thats what i do.

Even if all F2P players stop

Even if all F2P players stop buying energy the price won't go down. The price is on the rise now because the elevator pass allows for P2P players to farm an infinite amount of crowns, and then convert that into CE. The cost of CE won't begin to lower until the elevator passes are no longer available, new crown sinks are added, keeping your wealth in form of CE becomes less worthwhile, or Three Rings makes CE purchasable with crowns (though that would be a bad idea).

Not caring about CE prices?

Not caring about CE prices? That is ridiculous. Everyone cares. The same people that break every single vase and every single bush for a few crowns are obviously going to care because the amount that CE can fluctuate easily erases any gains from breaking said breakables. Every coin counts. I know this all too well when I'm just a few crowns short from paying the listing fee for my crafted gear on the AH.
And as for running dungeons, you're running them to get Crowns to buy CE, effectively trading your 100 mist for 100 CE over the dungeon. That is the sole reason for some people to run through the Clockworks. The only profit you got is the money you might have leftover and the money you get from selling materials.
And managing your energy is a good idea - I remember once when I joined I saw someone pay an exorbitant amount of energy to revive in USELESS T1 level. They complained later, and when she died, the revived herself immediately, paying the doubled price without even waiting for someone to revive her.
But the CE prices doesn't really make the game harder. You just have to make every bullet count.
You don't have to save CE for crafting. I think most people can make a bit more money on a CE run than what they paid for the money, if the CE prices don't go too much higher.
And not buying any won't drive prices down at this point. It isn't bad enough that people all over the place are just stopping buying CE on the market because it's too expensive. There's still plenty of people that are buying their CE, and as long as they are, prices will go up. You might as well buy now and sell later, if it's going to go up even more.

Hm, well yours is a day by

Hm, well yours is a day by day process, it seems you play the game casually, however, some veterans still end up with all the best quality equipment they need and still have affluent ce and crowns. Also I see that prices were higher than 7k cr back then. But then I see these guys with ridiculous amounts of ce and crowns on hand. I just wonder how these guys manage to keep that rate going for such a short time. This was before the influx of Steam players that they were able to profit off of even with the cr/ce rate possibly adjusting to gear prices. Really boggles my mind. So do you run only on mist and get like 100 ce a day, which totals for a month about 2800 ce, getting some decent equipment in the process. This is not going by the crafting method either I suppose. Man, I don't know about you, but I feel these guys have a luxury of time unlike me, living younger and not having a worry in the world. And getting that much ce that slowly would drive me nuts. I just can't add time to spiral knights along with other things to my schedule like that, it would feel monotonous to me. Cause I don't know about you, but leaving my mist at 100 capacity without using it would drive my psychologically paranoid. Like opportunity cost, like I should always use my mist or else when I play it later I won't have all this "wealth" accumulated when I get back in the mood to play.

And arenas are okay to rely on, as well as boss runs, but lots of it depends on chance if you join a random party to get a jump start to the later tiers that matter most, or if you want to get as much, but considerably less crowns on arenas before the terminal you can do that as well, but the gate changes that provide that is also based on chance, and sometimes you may not get the first 3-4 arenas in the first-second depths if you want to play but only have say 20 me. Also jumps are also based on the availability slots of your friends/guilds, and sometimes you don't get that chance. Also the 1st strati dont' seem to give enough, and you can loop just the first strati, but I believe you can only make like 1k cr or 2 profit of it if you run on ce. Or you can keep your 7-9k cr for a rainy day like most seem to suggest here. That would be a bit too slow for me, and I don't want to have to wait for the time to fly fast just to finally get to whatever single goal I wanted to get at. I guess it goes to show you here that patience is a virtue in this game as the babble says, jk. We got all the time in the wurld, well some of us older folks don't.

And is triple rings just going to provide elevator passes forever now? I still see it available, and when mines is done, I'll be SOL too. Dang, I've spent about the cost of a new game on this game, and I cannot go pass that psychological price. I don't like online games where you have to pay a fee just for updated content that doesn't add anything new or significant to the game. I understand it somewhat with services like XBox Live, but that's giving me the option to play any game I want, not just Spiral Knights. And if you let elevator passes permanently become an indirect monthly fee because of rising ce prices, then it's going to be the same costs of a yearly XBox Live Gold service. x ) I'd be happy to play games like Contra Uprising or Castlevania HD with my friend, and where farming is allowed, since Konami doesn't care about cheats. But my friend is borrowing another person's account which he feels sorry for. Still, it's a free ride for him, lucky. In the meantime, we still have our other free online stuff to go back to.

If you want us to pay you gotta make it worth our while like raising the probability of getting UVs or lowering the crafting costs. I'm already distributing time to save up for good gear from sellers that will cost an exorbitant amount of ce, the other for getting uvs myself just for the fun of it, and the last few days for crafting it up to 5* and getting all the tokens for equipment before I join the rest of the f2p players in having a tough time getting the stuff I want. Well anyway, I hope the prices don't go up to 10kcr like that one pic I saw from a vet. But I guess that was a glitch pic since there was only 4 top sellers and all of them were 25kcr, which is a huge gap between the buying and selling bids.

All I can take away from CE

All I can take away from CE whiners is this. (Updates are a different matter.)

They are not experienced players.
They are most likely younger than other players
They are annoying
Refuse to change opinions with pure facts given to them and solutions. (aka "We just want it nau i dont care!!1!" )
They have no patience, or a sense that 900000000000000000 Billion other threads like theirs failed (CE petition anyone?)

imo if they want to ragequit due to high prices ill be happy to bid them farewell. Not to mention if they leave due to high prices, then lets raise it!! Less whining = better game

For updates, thats understandable. Its just hysteria, and after a few weeks or so it passes

Vana run jumps are the best,

Vana run jumps are the best, not only cause of the 7k+ crowns but also the tokens. Even though you would feel selfish for not providing the jump yourself and contributing sometimes, but you're assumed to be on me, so what can you do? But even that gets so monotonous after awhile.
