Think I've figured out how to fix the WHB line - boost the damage slightly (maybe about one extra bar of damage) and then divide that into split Normal/Piercing damage. Keeping the +dmg against Beasts is not strictly necessary, but would be nice.

I believe that this would not only make it much better against Beasts, as well as useable against Fiends (and it would murder Pit Bosses).

Discuss.

would actualy be a good

would actualy be a good idea.
discussed the WHB against the DVS in the arsenall forum, and somebody stated (didn't think of this myself stupid me) when encountering wolvers (or other beasts) 9/10 chances you have a skolver armor + BTS equiped (full piercing armor) and with that maximum SDB and the damage VS. beast doesn't stack that rendering it pretty much useless.

Grand Flourish VS. Daring Rigadoon/Fierce Flamberge use this approach. so i'm wondering why they didn't on the WHB (making the bonus not so useless)

This is for attacking Beasts, right?

Think about the monster its meant to kill, then simulate an average battle with that monster. Then see how it could be improved upon to the point that the attacks would decimate the monster at any cost.

Wolvers are fast right? Then make the sword faster. They're strong too right? Well make it stronger than that.
Heck, maybe add a bit of stun too, to slow down those Wolvers.

No clue about Chromalisks.
