Nothing directly relevant to SK fanart anyway
This is a WIP I'm not sure what exactly bought it on, but it was a mix of SK, creepypasta and this that inspired it. It's gonna become bigger than this is all I'm sure of
NEXT- I have a tablet now. Unfortunately I will be unable to use it for a few months because I'll be away from home for about that long. It's an old model that was given to me by a really good friend of mine because he upgraded to another tablet. The tablet is currently in the possession of my little sister who is a superior artist to me. Or at least, she's the one actually STUDYING to be a fine artist.
Did I make any SK fanart with the tablet before I left home? Unfortunately, no. I made this thing that pertains to another interest of mine. I'd advise you to be careful when clicking the link, but there's not much to be careful about, it's just a freakish female humanoid thing in long socks and very little else (read carefully- it's LITTLE else as opposed to NOTHING else, so no, no n00ds there), nothing that can't be handled by people who are REQUIRED to be 13+.

well...
it was originally just going to be the "Divine" armored Knights on one side and their "Shadow" counterparts on the other side. I was going to include the Volcanic sets as the black/red pieces, except once again the Wolver line does what it does best and messes everything up by having a Divine, Volcanic AND a special completely unwarranted Shadow version. Also I just realized I totally forgot the gunner sets. I hope HappyApathy doesn't find out.

The point was that one side
The point was that one side was to have "Divine" armor sets and the other was to have the closest shadow/dark counterpart. Gunners arguably have at least a shadow/dark themed set and a light themed set (making it worse that I forgot), but Bombers don't. It just gets really weird finding the closest counterpart to each of the armor sets. Feel free to improve on what I did if you can.
So far all I could figure out was
Valkyrie Set <-> Fallen Set (Because DUH)
Almirian Crusader <-> Dread Skelly (Because the Almirian Helm is the Skelly Helm with a different texture)
Divine Veil <-> Chaos Cloak (this one was also fairly obvious)
Skolver Coat <-> Snarbolax Coat (I was initially planning to use the Vog but then saw that the Snarbolax one actually looks ebuls)
Blizzbreaker <-> Blazebreak (okay this one is kinda dumb because the filename for Blizzbreaker Helm refers to it as "dvn" and because Blazebreak is the only "Volcanic" set used here)
White Rose <-> Black Rose (HURRR DURRR)

Pixelated eh?
...you are probably dealing with the file in its native form, an Indexed file. This means there are no gradients...
Now, you can easily change the mode to an RGB, but it depends on the image manipulator in terms of where you will find the option to change modes. Just remember to swap it back when you are done.
After you swap it to RGB, you have access to all the tools you need.

All in all, practice and knowledge allow you to make things like this. It will come eventually should you allow the potential to grow. Just keep at it and you will be able to make what you want the way you want it to be.

with the spec file
I turned it into RGB before screwing with it, and I just used a brush and the blur tool
but then when I converted it back to Indexed, bam, the stuff is all blocky looking.

Spec files are suppost to be
Spec files are suppost to be in RGB format, since they have to be transparant. In other words, of the many files, spec files are the few files in the game that are natively RGB, so convert it back and smooth it out, and it should be fine.
Anything that is not a spec file that is in RGB format will not load, spec files do load in RGB format however, so take advantage of the fact that they can.
