What do they have to offer in terms of rewards that is better than their normal counterparts. Since the keys cost so much (and can only be used once), I want to know what you get in a Shadow lair, besides added challenge, that justifies the cost of a key. What makes it worthwhile for your time and investment?
Question about Shadow lairs.
But is it really that expensive (Im F2P mind you)
You only need one key for the whole party.. So simply split the cost for the key..
A shadow key costs 1800E at Boost.. 1800E / 4 = 450E
(Boost only have teh key at special times)
If you open a lockbox and find a key, invite people, then have them pay there share of the shadow key..
A silver key that cost 750E split in 4 = 187,5E.
So, it'sn not that expensive..
Buit then again, is it worth it? Let me quote: "Well... xD"
someone said this: a 5* recipe costs 25k
450E = around 30k
You don't need recipes to craft Shadow Lair stuff, and the extra 5k in costs is deducted thanks to all the crowns you'll get killing monsters.
So basically, instead of giving away a new recipe, the developers decided to hide new armor on a Lair, wich costs roughly the same.
I think that UFSC 'might' be worthwhile assuming a no CE revive run and costs split equally. There are an absolute ton of enemies down there.
The real value comes in the challenge of actually doing those areas. They require a level of teamwork and coordination that is a level beyond what one normally expects.
If you craft something then it's definitely worth it, without too many CE revives and split costs, as noted above.
You get mats to construct the new 5* equipment (Snarby, Ice Queen, etc.) with and access to the machine that makes said equipment. There's no other way to make the gears, even if you buy the mats--the special Alchemy Machine is located at the very end of each Shadow Lair run.
Is it 'worthwhile'? Well... xD
