I wanted to ask that question to you guys and get your opinion. For 7500 CR, I got the Spur, and I'm really liking it so far. What's your favorite 7500 CR sword?

The one I don't spend 7500cr on, because I crafted it or bought it in the AH instead of from the overpriced vendors.
Also one with an alchemy line that goes to 5*.

I went for a Spur for my first weapon, too. I liked faster swords, and the Spur just looked so cool! I abandoned it for a Calibur after I realized that there's a such thing as 'upgrading', and I suggest you do the same--get another sword, I mean, not necessarily the Calibur line. Like people said up above, you should try to craft your own or buy from AH. 2* equipment rarely sells for over 2000 crowns there, and if you stake out the AH a bit, you can buy stuff for as low as 1000, especially the popular equipment.

Probably a Flourish or Brandish, because these lead to some of the best 5-star swords (Final Flourish, Acheron, Glacius, Combuster, Voltedge).
(Unless your goal is to play Tier-1 Lockdown or Tier-2 Lockdown, you should be thinking in terms of 5-star items, because that's where everything ends up. The best 2-star or 3-star swords are the ones that lead to the best 5-star swords. And you should choose these to construct a weapon setup of varying non-normal damage types.)
(Also, if you're buying swords from the vendors in the Bazaar, then you're wasting money. Instead, buy 2-star and 3-star items from other players via the Auction House.)
